The game could have gone either way, but this France team gives the impression that they can always do enough to win.
With 4 clean sheets in 6 matches so far they are good at stifling the opposition and are therefore hard to beat. England or Croatia will need a good performance in the final if France are to be stopped, bearing in mind they have now put out Argentina, Uruguay and Belgium.

It'll be hard enough to break Croatia down tonight I know we have relied on creating our chances from set pieces but we really do need to put the pressure on them from start to finish, as they have players that can hurt us pretty quickly our defence need to be alert AT ALL TIMES. All we can hope is that we have cool heads and show the discipline we have shown through out & not show an ounce of nerves. All hope the referee is less card happy than he usually is and be the Cunt that will ruin what should be and exciting game. How Fifa ever came to choose him I do not know.

France's 1-0 victory over Belgium wasn't the match it could have been, but I think it's fair to say that France did enough to deserve the win. They have now reached their 3rd final in the last 6 World Cups (after 1998 and 2006).
