There are no Studio 66 producers in charge of content - - that means nobody from Studio 66 is saying put 1 girl on, put 2 girls on, put 3 girls on, change the set, change the set again, give that girl the sack etc. The production is independent of Studio 66.

2nd subject. Studio 66 monitor the channel output for Ofcom compliance - - that means somebody from Studio 66 monitors the channel output in order to ensure compliance with Ofcom regulations. This way Studio 66 retain overall control over the broadcast output, in accordance with what Ofcom require, and can also ensure compliance with the broadcasting code.

Well summed up. As you said, winsaw was confusing the issue by muddling up the 2 subjects. The show is clearly an independent production, and to be fair Krystal has been indicating that all along. Monitoring the channel output is a different issue entirely and not to be confused with production.

^^^Maybe so...Maybe not!

There was an interesting bit of set dressing work last night, when Bailey Jayne stood right up against the camera lens (that seems to be their preferred method of doing close-ups Wink ) in order to hide the fact that someone was dumping a purple-sheeted mattress on the floor behind her.
You could say it was an amateur looking move but then again, it stood out as something you don't see other channels doing.

They have actually put the logo up several times, including for 10 minutes at one point. One of the girls mentioned about getting their own logo, but as Studio 66 supply all the infrastructure for the broadcasts I don't know how practical that would be. Does Golden Girls have it's own logo?

I'm just processing video of 2-4-1 of one of Tuesday night's stints, starts off with S66 logo edited from 10 1/2 minutes duration to a few seconds..
I mentioned in my previous post about lack of production involvment by S66, but if you check my video you'll see it's in one of S66 sets,
....the logo featured at the start of the stint as they swap over to the S66 set, & again after a couple of minutes for around 15 seconds.

Golden Girls have their own logos, noticably when the girl takes a break.

Yes there's been one or two amateur looking moves, which you don't see the like of on the other channels, and I don't think it matters at all. As you say in your comment above, a more amateur feel actually makes the channel stand out from the rest a little.

which just goes to prove that 66 are in charge of the on screen content and their for ultimately the production of the show,
i think you are confusing the on floor production which they may well be doing them self's and the technical production which lets the show reach the air which 66 are providing, so 66 are responsible for what is produced and put on air as they have to be to comply with there license, ofcom have said it's not goodenough to just monitor a channel the license holder must be able to act to control what is produced,

You seem to spend a lot of time stating the obvious. Everyone knows what Ofcom require - it's been stated in this thread more than once already. It's also been stated that in this case Studio 66 have overall control of the output in accordance with what Ofcom require. You don't seem to be adding anything new to what's already been said and isn't disputed by anyone. You're simply repeating what everyone agrees on already.
FRIDAY 12th SEPTEMBER 2014..
