Evelyn would not cut her nose to spite the face, she is not a petulant type. Lose hundreds of £ just because a couple of guys on here reckoned the boobcam segment was a little over long? No way.
No, the hand of S66 management is large in this. I personally don't think Ofcom are genuinely involved unless a rival channel has done the dirty. I just think the S66 producers and management are spooked at the way things were going and feel the need to pull it all back. And they are invoking the spectre of Ofcom to both excuse, and lend weight and authority to their clampdown.
I think it is clear that she started the day yesterday expecting a normal show - the translucent pokies-ready top and her early movement suggested this clearly to my eyes. Something went awry about mid afternoon I'd guess.
I feel for Evelyn - she's has always done her level best to please her customers (of all persuasions, callers cammers and tippers) and has reaped the rewards financially no doubt. Now she will inevitably suffer with loss of income. And we will not have the exquisite pleasure of seeing her perform.
I fear that we may have seen door slammed shut on what will be remembered in hindsight as a mini golden era in a babeshow history.
