Announced today that Ben White has signed from Brighton for £50m (probably about £25m of that is because he's young and English), but for me its still a good signing and along with Lokonga and Tavares it's been a pretty good start to the window.
We've also been linked with anyone who can kick a football so I haven't given up hope for the phone call from Edu
Oh and in a kind of shock turn of events, Arsenal look set to offer Xhaka a new deal after it seems his proposed move to Roma has collapsed. Personally I think it would be best if we got a bit of money for him now to reinvest into the midfield but Arteta is a big fan of Xhaka.
Well to like the two of you that care that was your unexpected weekly Arsenal roundup
WHAAAT THE F....k?
A ahocker for an Arsenal opener!!!!

After his performance against Brentford the £50m looks ridiculous. I know it's only one game and we shouldn't be so quick to judge, and his defensive partner Pablo Mari was even worse, which didn't exactly help, plus I'm probably overreacting anyway because at the moment we're bottom of the table.
Arsenal were bullied out of this weekends match against Brentford.
But you have to ask again about VAR. For the 2nd goal the Brentford forward was backing into the keeper and then locked his arms around the keeper. The ref missed it but the goal should have been disallowed on the VAR revue.
Don't worry about it we'll bounce back its only
Chelsea and Man City next

On second thoughts fellow gunners grab a pillow, a cushion, your pet (maybe not that one lol) or just use your hands but just make sure something's covering your eyes when those games are on

Well I've heard 2 former referees claim that VAR was right not to interfere because the impeding of the goalkeeper wasn't a clear and obvious mistake. So I'm puzzled at this point as to how clear and obvious these things need to be. For me it was an obvious foul.
By the way, the 1st goal should also have been disallowed by VAR, because the ball had gone out before the Arsenal defender cleared it straight to the Brentford forward who scored. I've seen a still photo and the ball was definitely out of play, it's 100% certain.
Not going too well again today...
Saka needs to get his transfer request in before it's too late!
Something I'd never thought I'd say, what a performance from Aaron Ramsdale yesterday!
And something i'll never stop saying, what a player ESR is turning into it!
Getting battered tomorrow
