Interesting take on Wenger and his legacy at Arsenal
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SQ4jj-fBkc
I mentioned in March that he was going at the end of the session and Germany Manger Joachim Low was in the frame.
This is a sad day as an Arsenal fan, he is not just our manager he is Arsenal Football Club. He changed everything about the club's culture when he came in and what he replaced it with a style of play that became synonymous with the club. He didn't just give us pieces of silver he gave us our identity. It was clear that the club was no longer moving forward and I think he has made the right call.

I will however say this, people holding signs saying Wenger Out are to me on a par with Spurs fans, it was crass, it was classless and it was a disgraceful way to treat a human being. It was beneath the type of club that we are, donating funds from our gate receipts to Syrian Refugees and Wenger aiding efforts in the aftermath of The Grenfell Tower are what I believe this club's character is and their actions were a betrayal of. I have no time for them.

Arsene Wenger was one of the greatest managers British football has ever seen, the way in which he revolutionised player management: diet, vitamins, no drinking is now the norm in every club. He was a catalyst in turning professional footballers into professional athletes. He didn't just make Arsenal Football Club better, he made every football team in the country better

Merci Arsene
I can't believe that Brendan Rodgers is even in the frame, much less a favourite...?? Didn't he fail miserably at Liverpool, before being handed a 'no lose' job in Scotland.... Let's face it, even one of you guys could go up there with just a basic knowledge of how to run a team and win that league with Celtic... They have almost no competition.
Speaking as a neutral of sorts, i support Liverpool. I think what he achieved at Arsenal with the budget he had for a large time was brilliant. He beat Ferguson's Utd to 3 League titles playing some brilliant football, especially The Invincible's of 2003/04. In my opinion of the best if not the best of team of the Premier League era.

But the time to call it was maybe 3 years ago, sort of round the time when there failure in the champions league started to take over. The FA cup win last year papered over the cracks. The way the fans were at the end of last season meant that he was on a heading to nowhere. Only nothing less then the title could have saved him and that was never happening.

I personally put him a head of Ferguson simply down to the football he played and the fact that he often bought unknowns and turned them into top, top players. No one would have thought Henry would have turned out the player he was when they bought him from Juventus, not mentioned many others.

But some Arsenal fans may realise that the grass is not always greener. Wenger's replacement is going to be the biggest decision Arsenal have made in years. Ancelotti or Luis Enrique might be good shouts so too maybe Thomas Tuchel. If Arsenal don't try for Ancelotti their mad. Brendan Rodgers would probably be a big mistake. He's at his level in Scotland.

he had one good season that was because had suarez and was a one man team
The good news is Alan Pardew has recently become available and is looking for another club he can introduce to his brand of devastating relegation front foot football

Exciting times ahead...
