I think it was inevitable, Freddie Ljungberg interim manager with him and Nuno Espirito Santo current favourites.
Arsenal sacked Emery due to the performances not being good enough.
Nuno Espirito Santo is the favourate for the job.
Admittedly not an Arsenal fan but I do find this decision strange, I mean who can they possible get to replace him now??? Surely the best decision would be to wait til the end of the season. Be very surprised if Wolves let Nuno go right now, at least not without making Arsenal pay big money. I know things weren’t great but could anyone else really do much better with what he has, certainly with that defence.

Mauricio Pochettino is available.
No way either Nunes or Rodgers would take the Job with what they are doing at both wolves and leicester for the shit show at arsenal

Poch wont want it either said he wouldnt take the barca job cos he had managed Espanyol so no way would go to arsenal after Spurs
Poch would never take the job, although seeing how Spurs ditched him maybe he would be tempted but I can’t see it in a million years happening. Best case would be Ljungberg until the end of the season cos getting a top manager now is going to be very tricky as there’s none available bar Poch.
I would take Nuno Espirito Santo right now, PL ready and Wolves are flying. You may ask with Wolves doing as well as they are right not why would he want to leave but really how much more could he get out of them? If a big club like Arsenal made him an offer he couldn't refuse
How about tempting Charlie Nicholas away from Sky? He was a huge fan favourite in his playing days, but he has been critical of Emery's tactics at times so that might count against him, but if they did it and paired him with Wrighty that would probably be an Arsenal management dream team. Emery's sacking was bit like Poch's, it was on the cards for a while but it was more a case of when not if. I think Eddie Howe would be have been a far better choice bas interim until end of season, but they should go British next season and go for him. I wish Freddie well as I think he was also a fans' favourite, so hopefully they will get behind him and give him the opportunity to put things right where Emery got them so badly wrong. I don't think Pochettino would take the Arsenal job either. Be very surprised if he did.

Massimiliano Allegri, Nuno Santo and Patrick Vieira are high on the list for next manager.
