Don't forget mate, that it's only the freeview pre 12am channels that this concerns , all the Sky channels will be as they are , 2 Sky channels have Ofcom licence's in any case , freeview channels 94 and 95 already start at 12am and also have a Ofcom licence , Freeview channel 96 starts at 11pm and can even with Ofcom rules be used to advertise the adult verified encryption show that starts at 11.30 because children cannot access the encrypted channel , you have to be adult verified , the only BS channel that would be effected is the start time of BS Xtra on freeview , which would probably have to start at 12am instead of 10pm . [edit] cmiller ^^, Ofcom are saying they have no control of what is shown on freeview before 12am , because the BS channels that start before 12am have a Dutch licence , so they are powerless to stop them , Ofcom licensed babe channels can't start before 12 am , this Ofcom complaint to NICAM as far as i can gather is about the content shown on freeview before 12am and doesn't concern Sky channels or freeview channels after 12am whether they have a Dutch licence or not .

I don't personally think that Ofcom complaining to Nicam will change anything. Nicam will tell Ofcom to mind their own business and to go stick their complaint up their arse, BS won't go bust but will most likely end up only having their encrypted channel. That's my view and as for Ofcom, they will eventually be pulled back into reality but the fta babechannels would of ceased to exist long before our government grows a pair and does something about Ofcom.
