on the plus side glad they are keeping all the girls on and it looks like they have bought some light bulbs which is a good thing, well done storm Wink

I was hoping the new "owner" would supply us with a strong package much like Spiros and The Greek but we ended up with is a weak ass product that not even bubbles or dukie would buy. String would be proud of this weak ass shit bladewave If you don't look at what you did before, you do the same shit all over.
If I wasn't a member of this forum, I wouldn't have known anything had changed...

Was CP a profitable channel?
Dont know. Last night was underwhelming but hopefully some changes will happen
Whilst I agree with quite a few comments in here about last nights show. I think you were expecting too much. I certainly wasn't expecting anything to have changed in such a short period of time.

After-all, it's still the same staff, babes, studio & equipment that's being used. The only thing that's changed so far, is the channel name, and the boss.

I think to have managed to take over within a 24 hour period, and still get a show out, is an achievement in itself. But if Storm wants to make any headway in this, he's going to have to ditch the CP format and come up with one of his own.

Really? I'm not suggesting anyone gets the boot, but some new girls would be more than welcome. I'm sick to the back teeth of seeing the same girls night after night. How many have they got on their books, five? And how many of those do nights, three at best. I'm sorry to sound so negative, but it's not like any of those are entertaining to watch either.

They need new faces.
i don't know if i agree with that ace as storm said this

which suggests to me they had a lot of time to for example make a new set which could have been installed for the first night

although i do agree they need to ditch the CP format, for me they should move to 2 girls a night, every night

Uuum, Bob's not dead, people, at least not in the literal sense. If he is, he did a great job of announcing his own demise in the 'Bob Paradio' thread a couple of days ago, here in this very same forum. His post may be written in the third-person, but I'm pretty sure it's the man himself just 'signing off'.
There still seems to be come conspiracy theories that we're part of some other organisation or babe channel; we are not.

Whilst it may be boring for some of you to see some girls more than others, we are satisfied that CP were producing the right sort of shows with the right girls to elicit revenue. Calls for two girls a night are all well and good and of course it would make better viewing, but that doesn't necessarily translate to more revenue for us.

Each channel has their own different style, some may like what we do, some may not, but there is a big distinction between viewers and callers; this means that in terms of output, what's good for viewers might not be good for callers and vice versa.

As mentioned in our first post, we're not going to respond to every comment on here and explain/justify all of our decision, but I hope the above will go some way to explaining our position as a broadcaster. There have also been a number of comments relating to the lack of changes so far and there are various reasons of this. Now that we have full control of the channel and the studio we are better placed to make changes and these will come into place over the next six months - it would have been lovely to make the changes more quickly but it's simply impossible.

That makes sense, the tone of the announcement was just a bit too flippant & to add to my interpretation of everything else that's been announced,
including the declared "independent" status of the company, I would be VERY surprised if Cathy & Phil Barry are NOT announced as major shareholders.
