If I was calling I'd rather have 10-15 min and do it once in a while 5 min is too short imo

Hello wifeylover1 and lovethedaybabes, I'm wondering the same thing (found this thread via Google).

I think sadly it's an exercise in 'data mining'. That's the only explanation I can think of, they are trying to get as many people as possible to call so they can sell the info to other adult providers.

Of course this means I'm no longer interested in calling. I'm happy to pay 26p a minute for the service but not for my info to be used for marketing purposes, that's literally the *last* thing I want with a service as sensitive in nature as this.

It's sad really, these channels, Storm in particular, really seem to be losing their way.

It also sucks that it's 'mobile only' now. I always have to call off a landline as my mobile signal here is very poor at best.

Yeah those are my fears. I reckon anybody who calls that number is essentially going to be screwed over by Storm. I wonder if putting 141 before the number will hide it from them.
Stevie a welcome addition Smile

Unfortunately that wont help.

141/withheld is only valid on simple domestic telephone lines.

Any decent commercial switchboard software is still able to view the callers true number. We can do it at work. If you call our office number from a withheld number just a few clicks of the mouse and you can retrieve the callers number from the master-log, and we only have a fairly basic commercial system. (this did come to my advantage when we were being prank called once, I think the pranksters got the shock of their lives when we called them back Big Grin)

I'm sure Storm will harvest your number even if you try to hide it bladewave
