cbs have ordered a scripted for a pilot to reboot charmed. the 4 stars of the witch show have stated they are not impressed and alyssa milano said it is too close to reboot but stated she is interested in doing a movie, shannon doherty is interest in doing the movie.

Here is an idea reboot the show with a new family then do a movie where both families join forces to fight an evil force.

speaking of reboots, murder, she wrote is being rebooted. qunicy, me is being rebooted this time with a female lead, SWAT is being remade (there was that film with Samuel L Jackson, LL Cool J, Colin Farrell), MacGyver is also getting a reboot.

Me thinks some channels are starting to run out of ideas for new shows.

It's pathetic stuff isn't it, they make it almost impossible for people to submit ideas for shows etc, and continue to reboot stuff that should be left alone

about a possible swat reboot, there was an excellent candanian swat type show called flashpoint which ended last year after 5seasons. The show not only concentrated on the cases they worked but the personal lives and the toll the job has on them for example ed lane (team leader for team 1) suffered from ptsd after having to shoot an 18yr old girl who was shooting at her father who was going to kill her mother. if did something similar with swat also add the political and media side to it then it could be good also what would help if they had an original member of the show playing the same character who was selecting a new team along side the new team leader from a bunch police officers (like in the film version) also throw in a rookie or 2.

has macgyver, quincy and charmed i dont a think reboot should happen. the new hawaii 50 has a different feel to the original even though they have same 2 lead characters.

Some big news from Marvel they have signed a deal with Netflix to produce four separate new live-action TV series – Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones. The four shows will then lead into a team-up miniseries, The Defenders. Daredevil will come first in 2015, followed by Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage.

And CW is now developing a drama centered on DC Comics' superhero Hourman and hopeful The Flash as will if his popular enough when he appears in Arrow.
