The reason why there’s no HBO Max in the UK is because Warner Bros did a deal with Sky with there programmes the deal runs out in 2025 so there won’t be a over here till then.
I've watched the first episode of The Lost Symbol, and despite it getting a lot negative reviews after one episode, I actually liked it. Sure it'll never capture everything Dan Brown intended (I've read the books), the films couldn't even do that with the budget they had, but I think it deserves at least three episodes to get a proper feel of it, I think IMDb's score is fair at around 7/10. Those that don't care for Dan Brown will hate it. lol.
Foundation has caught my attention due to it being based on an Isaac Asimov book series (I haven't read the books). Looks interesting from the trailer below and seems to have a massive budget, I've grabbed the first two episodes, but not had a chance to watch them yet. Anyone?
^^ I watched the first 2 episodes of Foundation. I enjoyed it, but some of it is heavy going, a few times i was thinking WTF is going on, and why is it going on
There are space politicians, like real ones today, that don't want the truth to get in the way of their own agendas.
It reminds me of shows like Lexx and Babylon 5, i loved those shows but never really had a clue what the fuck was happening.
