Can't wait for season to start, it is the only US Sport i watch nowadays. Go Dodgers!
The Dodgers will definitely be a threat for the National League. But I sense they've made too many new signings to have properly gelled yet. I fancy a BIG year for Carl Crawford. Washington must be the team to beat though this year. Maybe the Angels too. And, of course, MY Tigers Big Grin
Watching opening game against Giants, I'd settle for someone who can get a hit with runner in scoring position. 3 times Dodgers have had one, 3 times no score, once with no outs, scoreless through 6 innings
Seems Pitcher Clayton Kershaw decided if rest of team wasn't going to get him a run he would do it himself! First Career Home Run for Kershaw, homing in on complete game win!
this boyfriend is in the doghouse. at a recent st louis v arizona game his girlfriend got hit in the face with a baseball and he jumped out of the way

Forget Carl Crawford, Yaisel Puig what a start to a MLB career. Great throw to complete double play to end game against Padres, and a Grand Slam homer to help us beat Atlanta!

Yaisel Puig, second only to Joe Di Maggio(48) for hits in his first month in rookie season(44) and his .436 average is best ever for first month in rookie season in MLB.
I'm liking Puig more each time I watch him play. Would like him to steal more bases though, AND would prefer if he was playing for my Tigers, but he is a hell of a talent. And both Adrian Gonzalez & Hanley Ramirez are heating up. Dodgers could be the team to watch in the National League now.

Impressive though that statistic is, it's NOTHING compared to THIS stat. This season, Miguel Cabrera has become the first player in Baseball HISTORY to hit 30 home-runs, and drive in 90 RBI's BEFORE the All-Star game. Incredible. Guaranteed MVP winner this year.
They(Dodgers) have gone 16-4 in last 20 games, hoping the All Star Game isn't going to stop their charge.

Is the All Star Game usually as late as this, Dodgers will have played 94 games of their 162 games at All Star break. Thought they usually tried to break season in two equal halves
