Oh mate, you aint wrong. Story of our season more like though. So many games blown by a dire bullpen. Gonna take a minor miracle to progress now. The Dodgers are looking really good tonight. That bench clearance seemed to fire LA up. Kershaw is insanely good. Best pitcher in Baseball by a country mile. Cy Young winner this year AND MVP. I'm calling it.

God almighty, did I give Clayton Kerhsaw a dose of commentator's curse commentors curse or what ? Absolutely shelled in the 7th. What a rally from St Louis though. That I did not expect. Another somewhat surprising result late last night- Kansas beat the Angels in Anaheim in game two of their series, which extended their lead to 2-0, leaving the Angels on the verge of elimination. The two games today are both National league games. San Francisco take a surprise 1-0 lead into game two against Washington, and the Dodgers will hope to rebound against St Louis in game two.

I went to bed when we were 6-1 up because I thought no way Kershaw is losing this, when I saw score felt sure it must have been bullpen that Iost it, was amazed that Kershaw was taken apart like that

LA Dodgers tie series 1-1 with 3-2 Victory over St Louis Cardinals. San Francisco Giants won 2-1 over Washingtpn in 18 Innings

Ohhhh fiddlesticks ! Detroit have lost game 3 of their series with Baltimore 2-1 and are thus eliminated from the playoffs. Gutted doesn't do my mood justice. Our bats were fast asleep until the ninth inning- any other stadium in the Major Leagues and JD Martinez would've had a 2-run HR to tie to the game. Instead it was double. Oh well, maybe next year. As for the rest of the playoffs, Kansas are, at present, leading 3-1 against the Angels in the bottom of the first inning. Kansas win this game and, like Baltimore, they win the series 3-0. Tomorrow the Dodgers and the Cardinals play game 3 of their series, currently tied 1-1. And San Francisco host Washington, with SF looking for a win to close out the series.

Relief pitching let Dodgers down as St Louis won game 3 by 3-1 to led series 2-1. Hopefully Kershaw can get over his 7th Inning woes of game 2 to give Zac Greinke a chance back in LA to win series

Unbelievable. The 7th inning curse strikes Kershaw AGAIN ! 2-0 up and he gives up a 3-run homer to Matt Adams. St Louis closed it out to win the series 3-1 and will face either San Francisco or Washington in the National League Championship Series. Bad luck Mike.

That's the Dodgers done for another season lost 3-2 to St Louis tonight 2 7th Innings melt downs from Clayton Kershaw and bad relief pitching means we fall to St Louis for second year in row.

Given the way all the pre-game favourites have lost their respective series' this year the only conceivable result later tonight is a San Francisco win over Washington to advance to the NLCS against St Louis.
At this stage of the playoffs, with 3 of the 4 slots filled, I'm going to tip Kansas to win the World Series over St Louis in an all Missouri battle.
