I'm out with the darts team tonight so I'm gonna miss the early evening games, but I should be back in time to watch San Francisco vs. San Diego.

Glad Dodgers finally ended their 42 innings(team record) in 6th inning of St Louis Cardinals game on Saturday which we went on to win
Does anyone know of a decent book that explains the MLB's vast array of stats for the layman? I know the basics and even some of the basic team tactics but I am still (after all this time) baffled by some of the stats. Someone suggested trying a "....For Dummies" book but I've been told that even those still expect you to fully understand large chunks of the game.
Any suggestions welcome....
