Got accused of being a band wagon jumper at the weekend because some knob head felt brave when he saw me wearing one of my Cubs caps. I did laugh as my mate less than kindly pointed out he was wearing a Yankee's cap (and not even a good one, we're talking JD Sports tat here) and a Man United shirt.

Amazing comeback from Kansas last night against Houston. It looked like the Royals were on the verge of elimination and then they had a huge 5-run 8th inning. I can't lie Mike, after seeing that Utley 'slide' (more like a Roy Keane tackle) I really want the Mets to win that series now. Then (hopefully) face the Cubs. Fingers crossed Houston & Toronto get through tomorrow night. I'm hoping for a National League World Series winner. Cubs preferably, but with that amazing rotation I wouldn't object to the Mets.

Kansas City and the NY Mets have taken control of their respective Championship series'. Toronto's much vaunted offence just haven't turned up yet against the Royals. Game 3 is tonight at 1am. Likewise, the Cubs haven't really got started with their bats against the Mets. Pitching always prevails. In which case, the Mets have to be front runners for the World Series now.
