Top up anytime 2 placeholder has been removed from multiplex A rescan now to find it gone. All entries in the NIT and SDT are gone.
There is a new news channel for anyone interested on sky tv. It is called CNC News and is on channel 516
UKTV have a forum account on digital spy and have posted that they hope to have a placeholder for really active by the 27th ready for launch on August 2nd.

So that means they hope to have it sorted by then but its by no means locked in yet.
Channel 5 have improved there on screen logos. The ones that sit in the top corner of the screen.

The channel 5 one is toned down more and been moved away from the centre of the screen, 5USA and 5* have the same logos as before but they have been moved away from the centre of the screen also.

The morning kids strand milkshake which is also on channel 5 has its own channel logo and it used to be massive. The milkshake logo has massively shrunk in size and has been placed in the same place on screen as all the other channel logos.
For you sky viewers WTF TV will rebrand to Massive R&B from 15th of August 2011.

Really placeholder has been added to multiplex C on channel 20.

CNN placeholder that has been on multiplex C as a slate saying the channel is unavailable since november 2010 has been removed channel 84 is now empty.

Rescan time.

CNN is still a caption on the mux without LCN for the time been and will vanish from peoples boxes (be hidden) on a retune which effectively means its as good as gone.

Channel 20 really now has a caption saying that really is coming soon on channel 20. On August 2nd.

It also says to retune on that day to get the channel which is stupid because if you can see the caption now after a retune the channel will just be there on your boxes on that day.

Just this second channel 20 has been given a revised caption without the message to retune on August 2nd as a retune message on the caption is moot as the channel is already in the EPG

Ray cathode posted on digital spy that all traces of cnn are now removed from mux C so its no longer hidden cnn is now history on freeview.
Just noticed something on the EPG, ITV2+1 has 24 hours listings from august 2nd

So the question becomes is itv2+1 going 24 hours on this day or is it an epg error?

Guess we get the answer to that question this coming tuesday
