Ray Cathode just posted the quote below on the digital spy forums. Might be of interest to someone. Remember as well SDN have advertised a new slot so this just looks like a little prep work for it.

'Ray Cathode On digital spy forums Wrote:Mux A is now running with 2.3Mbps of null packets; ready for its eleventh stream.

LCN308 TOPUP Anytime2 has been removed and its hidden stream the TUTV data channel has been transferred to LCN307 TOPUP Anytime1

The 25kbps RadioTimesExtra stream that was used for software downloads (ie not the EPG data) has been removed leaving just the 50kbps stream for data. This is still attached to LCN93 Television X

All primary audios except Teletext Holidays are now 128kbps joint stereo; in some cases an actual improvement. Filth was running at 64kbps stereo but is not active at the moment.

A number of PiDs have been changed to be more sensibly organised.

So everything that was observed testing a month ago is now live and we are waiting for the new channel.

Freeview have confirmed food networks channel number will be channel 49

see here: http://www.freeview.co.uk/Resolutions/Ab...011-at-6pm
Another from Ray Cathode that may be of interest to people on here.

Ray Cathode On digital spy forums Wrote:Blue Rabbit appears
Yes I didn't believe it either. From LCN102 Rabbit, press the blue button.

I assume that this is sharing capacity with the existing Rabbits as it is only part time at weekends 10pm-2am.
Broadcast Now have said disney channel will be going HD on sky television from September 16

The Off air MHEG for LCN 32 Big Deal now says tune in at 5am. They Used to be on air 6pm-10pm showing the jewelry channel so it looks like we know where the food network is getting there space from. No sign of the food network been added as of yet.

12:47 Edit:

12:59 Edit:

Channel now live with its off air MHEG that says back at 6pm. This channel is a timeshare and the stream is made up like this:

06:00-18:00 Create and craft
18:00-22:00 Food Network UK
22:00-05:00 Smile TV 3
05:00-06:00 Big Deal (in its new reduced hours.)

So time to rescan for the new freeview channel

Best of all a shopping channel has lost its night time outlet for the food network to be on which is excellent news. The jewelry channel up until today used the food networks hours and big deals channel number to provide there channel to freeview for an extra 4 hours at night but this has now been cancelled so food network can be on air. Unfortunately todays channel changes don't effect there morning outlet and TJC continues to be on channel 31 6am-12pm
Channel 109 Mobilizer has changed to a caption stating it has closed. This channel was never available in wales.

Thanks go to Ray Cathode on the digital spy forum, I would not have noticed it this quick if I had not read his post as its not a channel I usually keep an eye on.

Unfortunately its only on freeview on saturday. On other days it broadcast outside the freeview hours. At least we got some chance to see this show as its on the freeview hours on a saturday.

Anyway I now recommend this show as well. I enjoyed this show when I watched it saturday night.
Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation has withdrawn its bid for the part of BSKYB they don't already own. They have stated then intend to remain a long time shareholder so one would assume they are looking to keep the part they already own.

This is been reported on sky news now.
BBC HD will eventually become BBC2HD. No mention has been given to what will happen to the HD content that BBC HD shows from bbc 3 and bbc 4. No start date has been given for the change either.

Link requires a subscription but the title can still be seen which mentions bbc2hd
Just spotted the off air graphics have changed for channel 19 dave and channel 25 dave ja vu.

Daves off air graphic just has extra text confirming the launch of really on channel 20 from August 2nd.

Dave Ja vu's also has the text confirming reallys channel launch but it also confirms Dave Ja vu will still be on freeview channel 25 after August 2nd but will only broadcast 2am-4am only. I thought itv2+1 was bad only been on half a day but uktv's +1 is 100 times worse two hours a day what a waste of time.
