Big Grin

I finished composing that by ten past one, then took 20 minutes trying to improve that impromptu sentence. I knew that in the end. I could rely on the members here...

Move on, nothing to see here!Rolleyes
They have finally anounced on their forum this morning that ch179 will definitely need an IPTV TV/box to watch any of their shows on Freeview. Sad

I can now delete it from my EPG

May be but not many people are going to see it unless you have the fv box you need to watch it so i think bs are safe for now

only thing is you need the internet to view it.
xxXpanded Freeview Ch 180 when it starts maybe more of a threat to BS call volume wise, especially if it's call rates are cheap the same as they are on Sky , can't see any threat coming from any channel that broadcasts via IPTV myself, if you have to have the internet to view it on TV then you already have the means to view it on a lap top or PC , so can't see many people going out to purchase extra equipment to watch something that they can already watch on the internet on their PC's or laptops .
Apparently this new youview tv service may have the capability and as talk talk and BT are promoting boxes with all there new broadband subscriptions then there could be a customer base after all

I am with TalkTalk broadband and have one of their original TV boxes (not youview)
It receives Sky1, Sky2, FX and a few other extra channels via the internet.
It also receives most of the Freeview channels via the aerial. However there are no Freeview babe channels on it. I assume they block them, so as to avoid competition with the adult subscription channels that they offer, if you pay to subscribe to them.
They may do the same with their youview boxes.
What is the hype though with them going freeview? I mean we are still gonna see the same girls right as sky?

They advertised as if its something big but would like someone to explain what is so big about it?
