Given that it usually takes Freeview about three attempts to get the correct name for a babe channel it may yet turn out to be Bang Babes 2!

We were told there would be a new Bangbabes channel coming to freeview, but I've just retuned my box and it definitely says Babestation2, coming soon, on new channel 99.
They have hardly got enough girls left to fill the existing 4 channels, never mind 5.
I did see someone posted the other day on the digital spy forum that Partyland would be ending, but there were no more details.
i read that on digital spy to but i also read on there that partyland was going to change it's name to babestation 3
do you also think that babestation 2 on channel 99 will have longer hours that the one on smile tv 3 & also do you think that smile tv3 mite change it's output to the new bangbabes channel that has been talked about.
I've just retuned my other box which gives more info.
Its definitely Cellcast not Bangbabes. The "provider" for channel 99 is Game Network BV.
The provider for channels 96 and 96 is also Game Network. Channel 94 provider is undefined. Partyland provider is Five.
I read somewhere on the forum that Partyland (97) is registered in England and comes under full ofcom rules, whereas 94, 95 and 96 are registered in Holland, and don't.
I assume Partyland will close, and the new channel will be registered in Holland like the others.

TMTV channel 98 provider is Bang Media
Oh no, not another Tamestation channel Sad Is Cellcast not content with inflicting 4 of them on us?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is TS2 not already on Freeview?

This is what I think its going to be. On the channel screen you get in brackets and what the channel is called after it.

Ch94 (Smile TV2) Babestation 1
Ch95 (Smile TV3) Babestation 2
Ch96 (Babestation) BSXTRA
Ch97 (PL) Partyland
Ch99 (Babestation2) ???????? could this become BSXTRA2

What do you think.
If its correct about Partyland going which I watched from the start on freeview before BSXTRA came along for us texters then that would be sad.
Babestation Xtra has moved to channel 910 and Partyland has gone back to 951.

I might be asking the simply fact, but if these channels/stations are indeed registered in Holland and so therefore don't fall under Ofcoms wrath, why can't they be more raunchy then they are, we all know that the Dutch have a far more liberal approach to sex then us Brits.

It's matterless where a channel is registered, but where they broadcast. No matter where a channel is based, they fall under British rules and regulations if they broadcast in the UK. If a channel broadcast material that was in contravention of British law, however hazy and ill-defined that law might be, they would be liable for fines levied upon them. International co-operation between EU nations would ensure that a fine levied on a company by the British government or a body appointed to represent its interests would be enforced by any other EU government.

Some people may think this is a bad thing, but try telling yourself that if one of these channels registered themselves abroad, advertised as being £1.50/min., then charged £20/min. and told you to get lost when you complained, as they were based in Holland and couldn't be touched for it. Now imagine that happening to 750 people making a twenty minute call over the course of a night, for a few weeks before it came to light what was happening... That's why being registered abroad does you no good in regards to rule breaking. It works for us, as well as against us.

People post an awful lot of crap on DigitalSpy. Like that it's all a big con and you can't really talk to the on screen girls, who are just a front . . . Rolleyes

Ofcom themselves have stated recently that the channels registered in Holland are not subject to the Broadcasting Code. So the big question is: what rules are they subject to?
