Cruelly, it's given the tournament far more coverage than it was otherwise likely to get. Poor old Big Bob Milkins, his biggest chance and then this happens.

Day Four.

Results:
John Higgins (10) bt David Grace 10-3
Gary Wilson (15) bt Elliot Slessor 10-8

Overnight scores:
Judd Trump (5) 3-6 Anthony McGill
Robert Milkins (13) 2-7 Joe Perry
(resumes 9.30am - Thu)

Elliot Slessor mounted a heroic fightback from 2-7 down but ultimately it was too big a mountain to climb and Gary Wilson eventually got over the line.

Joe Perry produced some excellent match snooker to take control against a frustrated Robert Milkins and establish a 7-2 lead with a day off before the resumption on Thursday morning.

Bob looked doomed when 0-4 down at the mid-session with Dominic Dale whining that he sorted his tip out weeks backs, so at least he got a couple of frames, even if unlikely to be nearly enough.

Sounds like this morning, Lisowski was 9-4 up on Saengkham, but only won 10-7.
Number five seed Judd Trump has crashed out after a 10-6 defeat to the man nobody wanted to draw in round one.
Anthony McGill now faces Jack Lisowski in a rematch of their Crucible clash from a few years back that McGill won 10-9.

Earlier today Kyren Wilson powered in a quite brilliant 147 maximum break in establishing a 6-3 lead over Ryan Day.

Good for the TV ratings.

I didn't see what happened, but I assume the protester came from the audience, so must have paid at least £44 to get in.

Apparently the front row seats for the final cost £650.
I haven't sat in the front row since that pantomime in Blackpool *shudder*
whats murphy moaning about the cue ball seems hes the only one having trouble its in his head
Day Five.

Results:
Anthony McGill bt Judd Trump (5) 10-6
Kyren Wilson (7) bt Ryan Day 10-5

Overnight scores:
Mark Selby (2) 6-3 Matthew Selt
Shaun Murphy (4) 4-5 Si Juahui

I think Murphy was more upset about a mobile phone going off on a key shot in a frame he ended up losing.
To be fair the audience are told before all sessions to either turn their mobiles off or have them on silent. Regrettably some people don't listen. It's happened numerous times in the tournament already.
Simple answer is ban mobiles from the auditorium to put a stop to it. Anyway he trails 4-5 overnight after an impressive display from Si.
