JUDGEMENT DAYS 1 and 2 Cool.

Final qualifying round matches

Ryan Day v Scott Donaldson
Xu Si v Pang Junxu
Anthony Hamilton v Jimmy Robertson
Elliot Slessor v Zhou Yuelong
Hossein Vafaei v Jackson Page
Andrew Higginson v David Grace
Mark Davis v Joe Perry
Matthew Stevens v David Gilbert
Anthony McGill v Cao Yuepeng
Noppon Saengkham v Zhang Anda
Graeme Dott v Matthew Selt
Thepchaiya un Nooh v Ricky Walden
Si Jiahui v Jordan Brown
Chris Wakelin v Wu Yize
Fan Zhengyi v Stephen Maguire
Jak Jones v Barry Hawkins
Barry Pinches was well beaten 10-3 by the "Angry Farmer". Tian Pengfei seemed the biggest loser, 10-2 to Wu Yize. Should be a handful of first-time Crucible competitors by the looks of it.
Anthony McGill is the first man through Judgement Day 1 after beating Cao Yuepeng 10-6.

Matthew Selt has seen off former champion Graeme Dott also 10-6.

And here is news to bring delirious joy to my soul.
Stephen Maguire is out after a 10-6 defeat to Fan Zhengyi.

Wu Yize has beaten shoot out champion Chris Wakelin 10-8.

Si Jiahui will be at the Crucible after overcoming Jordan Brown 10-7.

Ricky Walden has prevailed 10-9 over Thepchaiya un Nooh after a sensational match in which a fluked treble on the penultimate red of the final frame proved pivotal in deciding the outcome.

Noppon Saengkham fended off Zhang Anda in a deciding frame to win 10-9.
You'll be Fan's fan, then?

Jak Jones has got shot of Barry Hawkins too Tongue
Unusual to see Hawkins punching the table in frustration. The stress of qualifying really got to him.
He can't complain though as he had a poor season and ended up in the lottery of qualifying.
Gonna have to suck it up and improve.
So to judgement day two.

Ryan Day had a 10-0 walkover win against the unlucky Scott Donaldson who suffered a recurrence of a prior medical condition forcing him to concede the match after four frames.
Day did find time to make a 146 break though.

Jimmy Robertson saw off Anthony Hamilton 10-2 to reach the Crucible.

David Grace will return to the snooker theatre of dreams after a solid 10-5 victory over Andrew Higginson.

Hossein Vafaei has come through 10-6 against Welshman Jackson Page.

None of the top 16 seeds will want to draw Pang Junxu in round one.
He has sealed his qualification with a 10-5 triumph over Xu Si.

Elliott Slessor has claimed a highly impressive 10-5 victory over Zhou Yuelong to progress to the main draw.

Angry Farmer David Gilbert will not be in a bad mood at all this evening after edging past Matthew Stevens 10-7 to book his qualification.

Joe Perry was the last man to qualify after scraping past Mark Davis in a deciding frame.
Sad about Scott Donaldson; a crushing loss for Hamilton too. Mark Davis was today's only final frame loser, and I gather he's lost his tour card as a result.

laugh Well guessed. Pang was the runner-up at the WST Classic, so another one in reasonable form of late, if that counts for anything.
