Two decent matches finish Group A. Sri Lanka beat the Netherlands, who then had to rely on UAE to beat Namibia for the 2nd qualification place. Namibia looked to have blown their chances, as the fell to 69-7 in the 13th over, with the run rate above 10, before the big hitting Wiese, in partnership with Trumpelmann, got then within reach, before he was caught out on the boundary in the final over, with 10 still required from 3 balls. UAE closed the game out, for their only win of the tournament.
Sri Lanka top Group A, & progress into Group 1, with runners-up Netherlands set to play in Group 2.
