Third hand info though 'some guy said', could easily be part of the scam.
Not uncommon with the likes of the studios to setup fake punter accounts to generate interest and make a scam appear more authentic, this could be something similar or just someone telling a porkie to look big, or simply making a mistake, who knows, but I wouldn't take it as fact anyhow
