my hard to kill review

it started with a good match on the pre show

Josh Alexander vs. Brian Myers two very good wrestlers who should really be on the proper PPV, they did a good old fashioned match, looks like they are trying to book Josh as a sort of new Kurt Angle having every thing he did matt based , Brian cheated for the win in nice heel style

the PPV

Crazzy Steve and Rosemary vs. Kaleb and Tenille Dashwood

a bit strange to start with a comedy match instead of in such matches usual position as a half time break, it was ok Kaleb showed he can wrestle, was the best Steve has looked in ages, there where to many tags and no story telling at all, its a shame to see Tenille in a match like this as shes to good to work comedy, if impact cant find something to do with her she should go to aew,Steve and Rosemary won

Old School Rules: Tommy Dreamer, Rhino and Cousin Jake vs. Violent By Design

this was a good match, it looked like everyone had been told to not get to violence so not to overshadow the Barbed Wire Massacre, everyone looked pretty good and it did the job of getting the new VBD faction over with there win,

Knockouts Tag Team Championship Match: Nevaeh and Havok vs. Fire and Flava (Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz)

this was a very good lively match, lots of good action it keeped you guessing how it would go with near falls for each, Nevaeh and Havok showed how good they are together having tagged for 17 years, but in the end it was the fun young team that got the win, Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz are excellent at promo and will be good a relaunching the new belts, at the end they where given them by Gail Kim and Madison Rayne the last TNA tag champs,

Ace Austin vs. Matt Cardona

a surprise extra match, we all knew Matt was going to impact since he did his short run in AEW and talked about going impact, Matt was booked as a super star going over one of impact up and comers, i guess as it was a DQ win they will now work for a few weeks on tv,

Triple Threat X Division Championship Match

this was a really good match , considering that these 3 have spent the last 3 months working with each other over the x belt it was nice to see they had there best match yet, all 3 have such great chemistry, it was a fast fun match, having Manik beat the unhinged Raju again plays well with the stoy on tv, it will be intersting how long that goes before someone else is allowed into the belt chase

Knockouts Championship Match: Taya Valkyrie vs. Deonna Purrazzo

a great old school submission match with Deonna slowly destroying Taya over the match, a through back to how title matchs where up until the 70's it was the perfect change of pace after the X match, Deonna looked amazing she is now making everyone she faces look better , she should be champ for at least 6 months shes that good, she now has a stable to back her as well Kimber Lee and Susan, shes the best woan wrestler in the world at the moment,

Ethan Page vs. Karate Man(Ethan Page)

the 2nd comedy match of the night and it was a lot of fun, impact do pre taped stuff so well, it was basically Mortal Kombat made real it played out as a computer game with Karate man hitting his big finishing move and ripped out Page's heart, i guess we are not going to see the north again for a long time,

Barbed Wire Massacre Match: Eddie Edwards vs. Sami Callihan
wow this needed a crowd chanting ECDub it would have fitted perfectly into the high of the hardcore wrestling craze of the late 90's , the things they did where mad the match got more and more violent as the damage they did to each other body more and more bad, in the end it was more like a Japanese death match, Eddie won,

Rich Swann, Chris Sabin and Moose vs. Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers

wow match of the year so far, 6 of the best wrestlers in usa at the moment lived up to the hype, Moose had the best wrestling night of his career and ended the night looking like the biggest star in Impact, but it was not a good night for Rich he was booked as a jobber and he was the one pinned by Kenny for the win it made the AEW belt look far more important then the impact one, Sabin should have been pinned as it would not have affected him in any way, the heels owned this match from start to end really , i dont see how this helped impact really unless Swann is going to be allowed onto AEW show to get his own back on Kenny,

it was a fun night i liked a lot of the matched it set a lot of things up for the future so will be interseting to see how they play out

We’ll know soon enough as starting today till Tuesday or Wednesday impact will tape the next month or so of impact wrestling plus impact+ Ppv specials. Think we’ll see more surprises & additions to the impact roster, especially additions to the knockouts roster given Madison Rayne announced her retirement & this could be Taya Valkyrie’s last impact taping as her contract expires this month
I found the ppv got better as the night went on whilst I thought at first regarding the barbwire masscare should have been made main event considering the amount of barbwire involved but credit where it's due it was brutal leading into the proper main event

Taya Valkyrie's leaving Sad

ODB's coming back Surprised

ODB's coming back Surprised

Was expecting Taya to ultimately leave impact and not renew her contract when it expires this month given her other half is back in wwe & think she’ll most likely go to wwe. Not 100% that Taya will go wwe given she’s got a very successful sports clothing business which she’ll likely have to shut down.

Good to see ODB is coming back to impact and think she’ll be not the only addition to the impact knockouts given Madison Rayne has retired too. Taylor Wilde is expected to return soon & think impact will sign Killer Kelly as well.

This weeks impact is 100% a must watch tonight on Freesports at 10pm for multiple reasons, it’s a brilliant fallout from Hard To Kill
Perhaps Taya will challenger her "sister" Aoife Valkyrie? Wink
watched impact this morning, agree rammy was a very good card,

Taya Valkyrie was exposed as the one who tried to kill bravo so was arrested and sent to the stamford connecticut maximum security prison for 2 years or if shes unlucky a 3rd year extension Big Laugh a funny way for her to leave impact and put the boot into wwe,

in the main event Private Party vs. Chris Sabina and James Storm for the number 1 contender match for the impact tag belts,
this was a great match and totally unexpect, Matt was a great heel manager, the action was top notch, all the wrestlers enjoying doing a match that was unexpected,
Tony Khan and Jerry Lynn where watching at ring side, in the end Jerry got involved which let Private Party win and really pushed the war, Impact are really starting to benefit from this

other good things on the card

Violent By Design looking a utterly dominant faction after a good beat down on Rhino trying to break his ankle was a nice touch,

There was also cheeky pops at AEW & ROH in that Taya segment too laugh
