the The Motor City Machine Guns won the world tag titles taking them off the North who had them for over a year but in that time had faced no one of note,
i was surprised they did it so soon but the tag division did need to shock up, feel a bit sorry for the North they carried the division having good matches against not great teams with no name but lose the belt in there first defence against someone of note,

the good brothers cut a great promo and started a feud with Ace and mad man,

during the womans match the commentators where putting over the idea of the womans tag belt coming back so dose look like it will happen soon and to be honest unlike AEW they have the division to do it

and the new world champ Eddie Edwards cut a promo saying that the impact world championship had only been defended 5 times in 2 years and he wanted to change that so he issued an open challenge and said he would have a title match every week, plays into what i though he is only going to have it short term losing it at the next ppv in september,

Actually winsaw, Impact’s next ppv Bound For Glory is 24th October (Obviously this depends on the corona pandemic in the us). No venue yet announced but at the moment likely to be Nashville as impact are currently using Nashville to tape impact during this pandemic.

Good to hear you’ve enjoyed impact again. I think it’s when rather than if in regards to impact bringing back the ko tag belts. They already have the division to do it, but I think we’ll see some additions to the ko roster to help launch the return of the ko tag belts. Former Impact Star Taylor Wilde is strongly teasing/hinting at a return to impact & I think Brooke Tessmacher will be back too.

Another very good addition too with Bryan Myers (Curt Hawkins in wwe) being revealed as impact’s latest signing

Just been on the impact website & it shows 15 knockouts so impact need to add at least 1 knockout so they have an 8 team knockout tag division.

Also the bio on there for Deonna Purrazzo says Deonna is signed

Quote: Deonna Purrazzo made a statement when she signed with IMPACT Wrestling and quickly dethroned Jordynne Grace at Slammiversary to become the new Knockouts Champion. What’s next for The Virtuosa now that she sits at the top of the Knockouts division? Tune in every Tuesday on AXS TV to find out
^^ looking on line I believe it's a match by match contract she's signed, this is very unusual for a champion, I will see if I can find the article, you would think she would be on at least a 12month deal as nothing stopping aew offering her big money and her just leaving impact , to be fair not that she's show any signs she will do that yet,

I think they could start there tag devision already they have 4 teams ready to go, that's enough to have a set of matches to crown new champions
i saw this on ringside news

Deonna Purrazzo won Impact Wrestling’s Knockouts Women’s Title at Slammiversary. The company has a lot of trust in her because they have yet to get her to sign a real contract.

Purrazzo was on a per appearance deal with the company. They hadn’t signed her to a contract prior to Slammiversary and according to Fightful, she still isn’t working under a typical deal.

Deonna Purrazzo was working without an IMPACT contract, leading many to believe she’d not win Saturday. After winning the Knockouts Championship, we’re told that Purrazzo and IMPACT are still working on a per-appearance basis.

Deonna Purrazzo might sign a deal with Impact Wrestling. They had enough faith in her to book her to defeat Jordynne Grace. The story between Grace and Purrazzo likely isn’t over, but we’ll have to see what’s in the future for both of them.

it sounds like they cant agree on the money at the moment but that she dose want to work there, i wonder if she got the belt as a bit of a sweetener
If Deonna is on a per appearance/per taping appearance deal with impact, I think she’ll sign a longer term deal with impact.

Can’t see her going to AEW even if AEW offer her a big money deal as the aew women’s division is an absolute mess.

Plus Deonna knows what impact is like having been there before going to wwe including wrestling Brooke Tessmacher on a Knockouts Knockdown PPV in 2014. Plus impact have given Deonna a massive push since she joined Impact this year after her Nxt 30 day no compete clause expired including of course winning the Knockouts Championship at Slammiversary.

As for her feud with Jordynne Grace, Jordynne has said on her Patreon she may give Impact spoilers from last week’s taping to those on the highest tier of her patreon via a zoom chat tomorrow (Monday) at 3pm EST (which is 8pm/9pm UK time) which could be about her feud with Deonna.

Can’t see it leaking but you never know one of her Patreon’s on that highest tier (I’m not) might tweet etc

Hopefully news will come out about Deonna’s long term future at impact
Just watched it thought it was good but would have been great with a crowd

The only thing impact lacks these days is a star I didnt see anyone who you could make the face of the company,
Im surprised moose isnt in wwe he is like a better titus o'neal
Bemused at the returning Katie Forbes and her sudden (?) six pack
Just got round to watching last week show as what where they thinking they only had 3 matches in the whole 2 hour show,
The first hour had only one match and over 40mins of not very good promo,
The 3 matches where all good but there was so much crap in-between them they really need to drop the wrestling house thing it looks so tinpot,
If they got new people watching after the ppv then this isn't how to keep them,

As strange as it sound wrestling matches dont draw viewers if you look at the attitude era its was mostly promos and 3 to 5 minute matches inbetween the promos.
look at aew loads of 20 minute matches and hardly any viewers even raw and smackdown focus on long matches and they have the lowest ratings ever
