Slammiversary was really good probably the best show impact has ever put on really getting back to there TNA days, they where the number 1 trend world wide on Twitter at one point lastnight, it's like everyone had a look and was impressed, they seam to be the talk of the wrestling world this morning, impact where talking the truth when they said this ppv would change everything, impact is now on the up , very happy with this , below is the matches and what i thought,

1 The Motor City Machine Guns defeated The Rascalz, wow that's how u start the show the return of one of the best teams to ever be on tna no one saw that coming , it was a great match the guns looked amazing so .any great moves , really good to see them both healthy this win must make them number one contender for the tag belts I think,

2 Moose defeated Tommy Dreamer Old School Rules match for the (unsanctioned) TNA World Heavyweight Championship, this was better than I expected making it a hardcore match so Tommy could do his tricks was a smart move as it really kept the action going, was the right result moose retaining,

3 Kylie Rae won the Gauntlet for the Gold match to determine the number 1 contender for the Impact Knockouts Championship, I don't really like these matches with lots of people in but it was ok everyone got to do something and got some good moves, I was surprised by the winner but thinking about it she's been winning a lot of matches on impact and she's a good wrestler with a more main stream look than some of the women the right choice based on who wins the woman's gold later,

4 Chris Bey defeated Willie Mack for the Impact X Division Championship thank God for that Willie has been useless and do nothing since winning the belt he's somehow managed to make the X devision boring, all that's going to change now Bey has been red hot of weeks think he is going to have a good run should be fun with the swing man by his side,

5 The North defeated Ken Shamrock and Sami Callihan for the Impact Tag Team Championship, was a good match all.worked really well together, I really enjoyed it, the result was never in doubt but that didn't stop it being a good match as the story was very well told,

6 Deonna Purrazzo defeated Jordynne Grace for the Impact Knockouts Championship, an unexpected belt change in a very good match , I thought Deonna would have to wait for bound for glory so was suprised she got it at her first attempt, I think maybe they moved the belt as Grace gimic don't really work with out fans at ringside, both but some big moves in a hard hitting match both looking really good, was nice to see Deonna win by submission as made her look strong as the new champ,

7 Eddie Edwards defeated Ace Austin, Trey, Rich Swann, and Eric Young Fatal five way elimination match for the vacant Impact World Championship , this was a really good match , so much good action it's just how a main event should be on a ppv, I think everyone except Eric to win it as the suprise or Ace as he's been the hottest singles guy for the last 6 weeks so was a shock to see Eddie win it , I think he got it as he's a proper company man who will not let impact down out side the ring , I don't think he will hold it a long time but it does give ace time to become a proper number on contender ,

So a really good card and better then I thought it would be , also it was announced that EC3 , The Good Brothers and Heath Slater had all joined impact, these are exciting times
^^
Yeah i too am happy with all the love Impact got last night, including getting tweets from wrestlers in WWE & AEW. Impact did live up to the hype

More exciting times to come as impact now are going to tape another 2-3 months of impact Wrestling and I think we will see more debuts, returns & surprises including the return of the ko tag team championship.

Best match for me was Jordynne v Deonna, I thought Jordynne would retain in some way as it was probably too soon for her to lose but looking back this morning, Impact had to have Deonna win given the massive push they gave Deonna. Think Deonna will keep it till BFG & Jordynne gets it back then with her title rematch clause
Slammiversary will be shown on Showcase TV on Saturday(25th July) at 9pm
If anyone on the forum hasn’t watched Slammiversary 2020, please do so on Saturday!! You’ll see that Impact is very much back with a vengeance and not to be slept on or ignored.

Very good episode this week including another surprise addition to the roster
Love this backstage photo from last weekend’s Impact Taping

Shots fired at wwe Smile
Thought it was a new faction, the Rammy Mafia? Wink Obviously baldy needs to throw his razor away.
seen on line today that Deonna Purrazzo is working without a contract in Impact Wrestling. this really surprised me as shes so hot at the moment and AEW really need more women i wonder if they will lose her soon,
Think Deonna will be around in impact for a good while. If it was just for slammiversary & the taping, Jordynne Grace would have retained and impact wouldn’t have given Deonna such a big build up and push
good show this week, main points

the The Motor City Machine Guns won the world tag titles taking them off the North who had them for over a year but in that time had faced no one of note,
i was surprised they did it so soon but the tag division did need to shock up, feel a bit sorry for the North they carried the division having good matches against not great teams with no name but lose the belt in there first defence against someone of note,

the good brothers cut a great promo and started a feud with Ace and mad man,

during the womans match the commentators where putting over the idea of the womans tag belt coming back so dose look like it will happen soon and to be honest unlike AEW they have the division to do it

and the new world champ Eddie Edwards cut a promo saying that the impact world championship had only been defended 5 times in 2 years and he wanted to change that so he issued an open challenge and said he would have a title match every week, plays into what i though he is only going to have it short term losing it at the next ppv in september,
