She just makes me think of that Naked Gun line ("it's Enrico Palazzo!") Impact ought to capitalise on this, it would be more modern than most of their usual ideas
just finished watching this weeks impact, mostly a good show but the main event was disappointing and it showed the problem they now have with there heavyweight belt on a woman,
we all know the number 1 contender should be Michael Elgin but where he to wrestle Tessa he would win easy as hes a big strong man who could destroy her, so to stop that happening the number 1 contender match will now be between to x division guys so that it gives her a small no body to beat,
i can see this being a problem for them the longer she has the belt,
I think you're making the Vince Fallacy; that smaller wrestlers, like David, can never beat larger ones, like Goliath. Yes, I agree that Tessa v Brock Lesnar (say) would need some kind of gimmick to work with, but that's how you would do it.

Might get some answers soon as Impact have just completed a 3 day tv taping in Nashville this week, not sure if Tessa was there though due to the Corona travel restrictions
The knockouts champion Jordynne Grace was at the taping this week though as well as Taya Valkyrie, Kylie Rae & the newest knockout Deonna Purrazzo. So I think we’ll see things happening with the knockouts championship over the next few weeks (most likely a no 1 contender tournament just like impact are currently doing with the impact world/heavyweight championship)
I also think impact are going to bring back the Knockouts Tag Team Championship given all the knockouts that have signed & debuted over recent weeks as well as Su Yung signing a new deal with impact.
Signs of that on this weeks episode with Havok & Nevaeh re-forming the killer death machines, Kylie Rae & Susie and Tasha Steelz and Kiera Hogan forming teams too

Wwe have booked loads of small wrestlers to beat bigger ones some examples
Eddie beat brock
Shawn michaels has beaten sid, vader,diesel and taker to name a few and
Rey mysterio has beaten pretty much everyone on the roster
I think like winsaw said it depends how you do it, Intergender matches never work unless the female is a big bitch and a lot of male wrestlers will refuse to even work against women like disco inferno got fired from wcw because he refused to lose to jackie in 97 but he eventually came back and did the job for her.
All this men and women are equal bullshit is getting ridiculous now simple not true
Its the worst thing tna/impact has ever done putting the world title on a woman it devalues everything
I'm bemused they're running it the night before a WWE event. Also, Slammiversary was usually in June, as their first TNA shows were in June.
Still, if any of the rumoured names come back, it ought to be interesting.

Most likely Tessa is stripped of the title & there is a tournament to determine Ace Austin opponent for the world title at Slammiversary, due to Tessa not being able to travel due to the corona travel restrictions
But it could just be Tessa announcing she will face Ace at Slammiversary
