Funny though how you can get a load of pics and vids from the live shows plastered all over the threads and thats ok. Dont see the difference really?

The difference is that the photos and videos on the Elite website are inside a members-only-area to which you need to pay to gain access. The pics and vids from the live shows are on free to view TV.

Not sure that's an accurate description, Skate: Copyright isn't coupled to payment?
If the photos and videos were made available to pass around, on these threads alone for example, dont you think that everyone would show more interest in the girls and pay them more attention? Would make the show alot more popular. Just a thought...
I imagine elite probably look at it the other war round. i.e. Technically the content on the TV stations is copyright also but they allow the caps and videos because they act as an effective advert to generate revenue from calls and website signups.

I didn't mention copyright. Elite own the copyright to both the pictures on their web-site and to their FTA TV shows. The difference as Elite sees it, is that they make revenue from the pictures inside the members area of their web-site, and have therefore requested that none of their copyright content from that area be posted on this forum, while at the same time giving us permission to post their copyrighted content from their TV shows.

I personally do think it may benefit them (in terms of web-site subscriptions, not TV viewers) to allow us to post the odd sample. Importantly though, Elite don't.
More importantly it would piss off those of us who paid for membership if a load of the member-only stuff floods the forum.
Like you said skateguy, the odd sample wouldnt hurt and if it was someone from elite who posted the content, then it would keep people interested and upto date, everyone is happy. Its not like all their members are going to disapear anyway. If anything it may introduce more to the site. Good chance it wont happen but you never know unless you make yourself heard.
