Leicester have sacked manager Nigel Pearson.

A strange but not surprising decision.
Very strange decision.
He got Leicester promoted.
The team survived the drop. bladewave
And then they sack him

If they were to sack him then why didn't they get rid of him at the end of the session and not wait a month before having to find a replacement.
is the shadow of 'gus' looming in the midlands? Smile
Maybe something recent behind closed doors has happened, am sure over the course of time all
will be revealed.
I've resisted any temptation to do this in the past, but it's now time for the Leicester City thread. Following the decison to sack Nigel Pearson, which has come as a big shock to Leicester fans, I think this bizarre development warrants us having our own thread (especially as even Fulham have a thread in this forum). Just when everything was going so well and we ended the season with a terrific run we now say goodbye to our manager. So annoying. annoyed
They'd have to pay him lots of guilder to get him to take on that challenge
(Yes I know that Holland have the Euro now)

SSN are saying that the sacking was due to the way Pearson reacted to his son's sacking a few weeks ago.

The fellow was very emotionally unstable last season when under stress and his behaviour reflected that in a number of unacceptable events.

And those are only the public ones we know about, God knows what went on behind closed doors and on the training ground...
