Only 1 point from matches against Southampton and Newcastle, and now we finish with Man Utd, Chelsea and Tottenham. If we play those last 3 matches the way we played against Newcastle we have no chance of picking up any more points this season. The only thing that's encouraging at the moment is that the bookies still have us as evens to make the top 4. We just have to be positive and bounce back from last night's debacle and somehow get something at Old Trafford next Tuesday.
FA Cup Winners !!!!

Congrats to all involved in the Club !!!
Youri Tielemans is the 3rd Belgian to score in an FA Cup final, after Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne.
in a way they have completed their own 'DOUBLE' in five years : - champions 2016 - FA CUP winners in 2021.
Is thi Brendan Rogers' first FA Cup win?
Many congratulations Leicester.
Yes it's Brendan Rodgers first FA Cup Final win, although he's been in 6 other finals and won them all.

I'm a bit lost for words at the moment, so I'll just post a picture instead.

James Maddison has removed 'Leicester City' from his Twitter profile.
Since James Maddison signed for Leicester City in 2018 he's scored 13 goals from outside the penalty area in the Premier League - more than any other Premier League player.
It's been a very strange close season for Leicester City, the only club in the Premier League not to make a signing, despite Brendan Rogers saying we needed 5 or 6 new players. Add to that Schmeichel has asked to leave the club and so has Tielemans, although in his case there are no offers so far. Those 2 are among 10 players out of contract in a year's time, so things look a bit messy right now. We need to resign some of these players or sell them whilst we can.
The problems are mounting for Leicester, no new players, lost a couple of important ones, news of massive financial losses, the manager very pessimistic, goalkeeper conceding more goals than he's made saves, Vardy not good enough anymore, and now lost 5 matches in a row and rooted to the bottom. It could still turn around but the next 6 matches look critical. It's an interesting run of fixtures, 4 of them at home to Villa, Forest, Palace and Leeds, and just 2 away to Tottenham and Bournemouth.
Not overly interested in football to be honest - less than that maybe - but I give Leicester a passing glance due to them taking out the Premier League under Raniera - breaking through the 'closed shop' of the usual suspects - and lately, due to my fellow NI/Ulsterman B Rogers taking charge.

All seemed well, with Leicester just missing out on the champions league (should maybe have made it though) but doing well in the Europa and taking out the FA cup (not maybe a priority any longer though for the cartel clubs)

You have to wonder the basis upon which the heirarchy sold the club dream to Rogers, and did they effectively sell him a false prospectus (where did the debt come from or did the owners do a Glazers??) How did they end up selling their best assets, but not provide funds for - or sell the club to - prospective buys?? Everyone wants Rogers out now, but it wasn't that long ago they were praising his management skills?? Maybe he should walk before someone pushes??
