I for one as an Arsenal fan am gutted that he got sacked.

He was doing so well lol.
Couldn't they at least have given Moyes to the end of the season before they sacked him? It's only another 4 matches.

Reading between the lines I think they want to get the new manager recruited and settled so that things are in place for summer targets to be identified and bought, ready in time for next season. It would be impossible to do that if Moyes was still in post. We don't want a repeat of last year's transfer inactivity/panic buy!
