Some highlights:

There's awesome Wonder Woman Dynamic theme for PS4 even has her music theme too.
After reading this Sony are greedy bastards PSN Plus for a year goes up by a tenner, 3 months by a fiver and monthly by a pound after 31st of August. They'll get away with it because there so dominant.

Sony sent me out a code for the 5.00 beta hopeful they have made some improvements.
Update 5.00 is live today. https://blog.eu.playstation.com/2017/10/...f118390631

Alarming moment after installing, with the 'rebuilding database' message. Hopefully no harm done. It didn't do the 3 angry sounding beeps, or the accusatory message about switching off properly, so I imagine it was supposed to rebuild.
PS4 restarted about 3 times, before coming on properly....
5.00 is pretty much like the beta I was testing.
I got a littel anxious too when I saw the "Rebuilding Database" screen, not turned my PS on in a few weeks and the controllers wouldn't connect at first which worried me a little, then I saw that, I'm thinking, shit, I only wanted to watch a DVD and now it's toast.

Turned out alright in the end
The database rebuilding is basically the equivalent of defragging a PC. It's a good idea to do it yourself once every few months to speed things up a little. I often do mine as I find it can get a bit sloppy and slow at scrolling through menus etc.
