Did Kev ever get an itemised bill for his calls and if so why haven't we got to see it? The woman is this video got a 300 page bill (said to be a world record) but fortunately the bill still only came to 275 US Dollars.

Yes i know, I have seen people saying they spend £500 a month. But essentially it's JUST to talk to someone. If you have the gift of the gab go talk to a real life woman for nothing. Imagine if you was in a club and you was a chatting up a girl and she presented a bill at the end. You could see a prostitute for the amount and have real sex.

Presonally, i would never pay any one to speak to them, it's not like they are getting anything extra, everybody can see the models for free, like he points out, they are paying for them so we can watch for free, who's the fool there? Judging by their lips, they only get the stock in trade, ooo ahh, fuck me hard, wanna come on my tit's baby any way.

I'd Always be thinking of what i could get or save up for. I know it's how it works but it does seem an awefull waste of money to those of us that have no need to ring these lines.

I think you totally missed the point there bud bladewave

Although, gotta say, use to throughly enjoy Tammy oldhams spit shows, she could drool over me any time.Big Grin

It is undoubtably a waste of money at the current rates, i'm youngish single, decent looking (relatively) good job and find girls easy to talk too and love to flirt at work but I still prefer calling a dayshow for a chat a tease and a wank.

My job demands mean I have no time for 'real women' (though the massarge parlours are an option lol) but this is great fun and committment free, but you have got to watch the bill especially if you talk a lot like me, BT have stopped my access in the past to keep the phone bill in check which is good. I'm a pretty disciplined bloke but I can see how others get carried away so a level of 3rd party governance is needed really.

What's 3rd party governance?

A bit of responsibility from the phone company's i.e like BT in my case in stopping premium rate numbers, I accept like the channels they are a business and someone's calls means profit but I think there is a limit if I guys goes too far. Ultimately it is the responsibility of the caller though and if you spend too much one quarter you just have to live like a hermit and be celibate for a while simple as that.

lol wish I had
this idea of a "3rd party governance" may or may not actually work. Banks and credit card companies do something similar if you have a suspicious transaction history, now this can be as simple as 3 online purchases in a day or multiple payments to the same person through paypal depending what their days "watch" sequence is. Most recently my bank froze my card because I spent around £500 on flights, £600 on hotels the same day as I pay a few general bills and it was described as "suspicious and unusual" leading to a payment being refused for something the next day. I contacted the bank and they just asked me to confirm the large payments I had made, asked if I was aware what my balance was and then unblocked the card for me to carry on.
For Kev, if this was the case I would imagine Vodafone would contact him and ask if he knew about the calls, if or how he intended to pay and providing the answer was feasible would then have to let him get on with it

It looks as though it WAS flagged but nobody did anything about it, judging by the reports that by the time the calls had registered on Vodafone's system the bill was £29,083 - and that it could have warned him at that point about the costs of his calls - so as a gesture of goodwill it will cap the cost of calls there.

I think the Admin should delete this thread as "Kev" isn't a member here.

I remember reading this too, but it doesn't appear to be the whole story, as Kev received a bill of over £19,000 for his first month of calling, meaning that regardless of their comment about not knowing Vodafone must surely have known about the calls before they reached £29,083. Plus didn't they block his card at the £19,000 mark?
