Been a long 4 weeks but now I have my Pixxxels.cc account back SmileSmile
Maybe a bit later than for some people, but done 1st lawn-mowering of the year this evening.
Lawn mowing is a competitive sport down my road.
Once one person does it, everyone else follows suit, wherever their grass needs cutting or not.
It wasn’t Hastings! Big Grin
It might sound odd but I am happy that my father is finally going to get his operation after 6 months waiting and dozens of tests. Into Hospital next Monday and hopefully be home 3 days after that and then a few weeks rest in time for my birthday.

You didn't seriously think Hastings was H did you? Big Grin
i am off to Prague later today for a long weekend back Monday night rally looking forward to a fun time,
Happy to report that my father has his operation(which he was waiting months to have) on his prostate(they did a TURPs on it-look that up if you wish) this morning and he phoned us later to let us know all was well. He should be home in about 3 days or so. Much relief all round. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/transureth...tate-turp/
Sit-rep(for those who might be interested) on my father. Had a good night, passing a lot of blood though but this is normal say the doctors and it will clear eventually. Hoping to come home this week without the catheter in and get back to some form of normality - been apart from my mother for 6 months, the longest ever(and he's only in the spare room) and at present is "bloody bored" so she will take him a radio to listen to tomorrow. I will be visiting him Thursday. We were due to go out for my pre-birthday meal Sunday but that will now be a week later if he is up to it. If anything happens will keep you all posted...but still happy he is fine and feeling good. Smile

Updates are welcome, and all sounds promising.
Well this sounds promising, it looks like he might be coming back this afternoon. They have taken out the catheter, which is a relief for him and might be released later. Will know more later and if that is the case I will be off on the bus to the hospital to pick him up and we'll come back by mini cab.
