Today marks the last day that I'll have to wear my cast

Yesterday as you know was the first day when I had my cast removed which has really set me free in the personal hygiene department now

For the first time prior to my injury I was able to have a bath today. I will fully admit that I was terrified at the prospect of slipping when getting in and out of the bath but I very carefully took my time and managed to come up with a safe method.

What a difference it makes, it was so much more pleasant than using a wet towel to clean myself with and what a relief it was to manage this so successfully

I'm not sure if a sunnier side is coming out of me, or whether it's just all the vodka talking, but I feel compelled to say how much I'm enjoying the forum at the moment. The on-screen quality of the shows has plummeted, yet the forum is going great guns at the moment, and the vibe here is much more relaxed than most of last year. The plethora of arguments that plagued the 'site last year have diminished, and by and large, it seems a lot more friendly now. Kudos to the forum members, I say. All we need now is for the girls to start pulling their weight !

Out driving this morning there was a radar camera in the process of being loaded. However the guy doing this work was busy changing his flat tyre.

It made my day (yes, I did stick my head out of the window to have a laugh at him)

Happy that my dad is feeling better after his heart stent operation. Hopefully he'll be able to start playing golf again soon.

Are you sure about that I wish I could agree with you, I'm happy because you have just made me piss myself laughing with that comment
