...one night's sleep and 125 miles.
I am chuffed to bits as I have won my workplace Fantasy Football League Championship beating 100 other teams to win the title, a lovely cash bonus and a trophy too.

Just Champion Big Grin.
So it would seem that all you need to get your neurology appointment fast-tracked is an angry letter from a specialist in Edinburgh. Who knew?! Certainly don't think I would've got an appointment for this Monday [June 15th] without it. If I could ask the good people of this forum to think uninvasive, even after all this time, on Monday I'd be most grateful.
Well I may aswell balance out my mood after having just posted in the Pissed Off Thread.

I'm happy because I've just got back from the Doctors as I had an appointment to see the nurse and the surgical bandage has now been removed and replaced with a waterproof plaster instead and a removable sock so I'll be able to finally get myself a shower now thank fuck after not being able to have a proper wash for the past 2 days Big Grin
Well I got the money that was promised to me today Big Grin I cannot wait until I get my insurance money for my mortgage repayments as that'll be another pay day for me too Big Grin as I'll be getting 6 months of money which I've been paying returned right back into my bank account - The drinks are on Scottishbloke I think Big Grin

I am happy because for the first time since January before I had my accident my ankle actually feels like normal again. Its been a long time since I've been able to walk at such a fast pace.

I just want to thank the outstanding job the surgeons did reconstructing my whole ankle after it was effectively smashed to smithereens and also a huge thanks to the physiotherapists for putting me through my paces by effectively teaching me how to walk again aswell as the set of exercises they gave me to do which I thought was punishing at the time but it's all paid off in the end.

The NHS gets a lot of bad press but they have been very kind and helpful to me this year. This ofcourse isn't the same for everybody so I guess I can count myself as one of the lucky ones to come away with a success story.
I am happy because a colleague of mine at work has received a monetary award at work thanks to my nomination due to helping me achieve some useful things in my job.
Sometimes it feels nice to see those really helpful people made to feel appreciated for the invaluable work they do.
Made me smile when I found out that my nomination had been successful Smile.
Happy that one of my oldest friends [the ex-girlfriend of my former drummer] went into the Post Office yesterday and spoke to my wife. I have been dreading bumping into her on one of my rare shopping trips because of the awkwardness of not being able to speak to her and how uncomfortable and frustrating it would be to explain my speech problem to her. But now I don't have to because my wife did it for me. And apparently I've got a big hug coming from my friend, when I see her. Happy days. #EveryoneNeedsAHugSometimes

I'm happy that some members take the time to trawl through loads of sites and twitter pages to post pictures of the babes in this forum - it saves me having to waste hours of my life on the offchance that I'll find the odd interesting image of a babe I like.
