The way I see it, she has the power of her fans or nothing if she hopes to return to this show. Which, in all evidence I've seen, meant a great deal to her.

Has Ice been made the victim because she is female? Amy always pushed up to and beyond the limits of what is now allowed and still does to an extent. But, and I suspect this is the crux of the matter Amy is not female so how could he/she offend the Thai sensibilities?
I think it's highly probable and all the more depressing.

The last documentary I saw on Thailand , the narrator stated there was no shame in the girls earning money for their families through the sex trade .The ladyboys ,however , were frowned upon by virtually everyone else .

I have long been of the opinion that this channel favours and gives preferential treatment to the ladyboys. For whatever twisted reason, they consistently take more calls than the girls, and this is all the producers are interested in.
Amy & Cindy take the most calls and out of these two ,I'd say Amy takes the most calls .
Out of the "real" girls , I'd say Kipsi & Ali were the top 2 , with Kipsi possibly just coming out on top .
Without these 4 this channel would be history .How it survives is a mystery ,when you consider even these 4 probably only get 3 or 4 calls a hour on average .Somebody or something must be heavily subsidising this channel for it to last as long as it has .
Cherry & Ice have been my favourites from Thailand since the days of the topless nightshows .However , I would concede ,neither of them are the most popular call wise in the dayshow format .Out of the two ,Ice would easily win on daytime calls .Personally I think the producers have had a bollocking from their bosses and have been told to tone down some "movements" on screen and "noises" on the phone .Ice called their bluff ,in my opinion and she / us ended up losing .I wish Cherry would make the same effort with her outfits as Ice did / does .When do we ever see Cherry in a uniform for example ? So much potential , but sadly underused .

It's surprising the degree to which shemales still have to suffer intolerance, derogatory labelling and outright hostility, considering we're into the second decade of the 21st century. It's great that Thai Chat bucks this trend somewhat by helping to foster a more progressive mindset, and that its belief pays off in the form of a genuine and enthusiastic audience for them.

I am! I think Nadia and Balloon are great. I was a fan of Opal, too. The best shemales absolutely match the appeal of the less stocky, rangier, natural-born presenters (Angie, Kathy, Anne).
