My sentiments exactly Weeman. if you (KalEl) know enough of what happened there at the studio to say how Ice was fired, why be so vague? when you say "Admittedly, Ice's boss could have handled it better" what does that mean!? did he curse? did she cry? did he punch her in the mouth? how much do you know about this?
I think you're telling me these are facts when really, it's just hear-say from the same bastards who said to the girls of ab: "If you don't work on the hardcore show, (i.e. sell yourself more than you're willing) you're fucking fired." Was that written in the presenters' contract? Or was this just pure bullying?
Those girls don't have a union, they don't have anyone to stop their bosses from using bullying tactics like that. all they have is the viewers and what we will stand for.
As much as KalEl says otherwise I don't think Ice was politely asked to leave, that it was some official executive decision during a round table conference with her, this happened iN THE MIDDLE OF HER SHIFT! (think of what it would take for you to quit your job for years in the middle of your shift!) And i know she wasn't happy with it. I'm writing all these posts because I'm angry at the way these women are being treated and kalEl, you should be angry too. Ice didn't deserve to be fired,(or forced to quit by any means) but I know shit happens and if she truly made the decision on her own, then i know she has the resources to make it elsewhere.

KalEl, who told you these things? how do you know them to be facts? and even if it was someone working in the studio that told you, how can you trust their version of events after seeing how they've repeatedly mishandled the girls of a/c?
That is the facts, believe it or not I don't really care... You seem to have it in your head that Ice was part of a bloodied hatchet style firing, which it was not, and if she had wanted to finish her shift she could have but chose not to.
These girls are quite personal outside of AC, they have their TV persona which does not reflect who they are in real life, for as you know Thai law and society take a very dim view of what they do, and they really do not want themselves further exposed outside of the studio, hence my vagueness.
Was this a pretty situation, of course not, was it violent, no. Were harsh words said, yes, who hasn't had a row or words with their boss!!!!
Am I happy at events, no, so I shan't be giving the channel any more of my cash.
But the reality of it is this, the channel was told to toe the line, the boss was there in the studio to make the girls knew this and they complied, did Ice feel good about this, no, and hence this was the catalyst for what happened.

Certainly don't have any inside knowledge, but what KalEl says is very plausible when you think about the way the show has evolved and various incidents over the years. E.g. the infamous on air police raid, going off air altogether for a while, Hardcore stream appearing and then being withdrawn etc. Ice pushing the boundaries once too often is, sadly, a likely explanation. She is a class act who will be missed. Hope things work out for her in whatever she does. Good luck Ice!

Sorry if I was misunderstood. I did not say Carl13 had Ice's Fb page but he did indicate and I quote "RE: Anne - Chat, Caps & Vids - Recent pic on her FB". Check it out. He also posted another picture of Amy etc on Page 41 of the Dayshow Forum. As for Ice there was one of her posted a few months ago, by whom I am unable to confirm, as I seem unable to locate it again. None of these pictures were from the show so, as stated with the one of Anne, must have come from the girls Fb posts.
Kalel, I agree with you that all the girls have lives outwith the show and no doubt wish to keep them personal. Anyone who has access to their Facebook is privileged and should respect the trust the girls have placed in them and should not post their pictures on a public forum.
As for the show it would appear there is a lack of scheduling. When Anne put in her unexpected appearance on Wednesday (and very nice it was too) she said, at the end of the show, that she had no idea when she would be back on again. Low and behold up she pops again on Friday evening. A wonderful bonus.
It would appear that they are struggling out there in the Land of Smiles to find enough girls to fill the slots. Is that why frequently there are two ladyboys on the afternoon/evening shifts?

I just want to thank you for putting up with me and being up front with me. I'll admit, i'm a bit shaken, (surprisingly so) that Ice is off the show so i think in my scramble for answers, i didn't know if you were on the girls side or if you were just trying to save face for the network.
I have nothing but respect for you keeping the girls' lives private outside of the show, and if you or carl or anyone else are privy to that information and have kept it to yourselves for the girls' sake, then I applaud you.
You've been more professional, more forthcoming and more informative than the the people who run this show and it's good to know that you will be boycotting and not shelling out any more of your money to them. huge respect for that. I think any of the girls who were treated badly or fired unfairly would appreciate it.
For whatever it's worth, it's good to know that all of you guys see these women as people even before you see them as entertainment or employees (I have another large truckload of respect for all of you for that). i thought i was the only one, hence the ranting and raving.

Doesn't work for me. Just endlessly get the 'loading' circle. It's a shame that Rampa®t have dropped it, since I'm not inclined to start watching it streamed via Sky again; not as long that ridiculous obscuring graphic overlay remains as big as it is.

I have tried in the past to log onto the ThaiChat TV site but as you say nothing works and unless you like watching the little circle go round and round I would forget it. I had also saved the Thai Hardcore site address but all this does is take you into Rampa®t TV.

It is ironic that it has taken the removal of Ice from the show to put some life back in this forum. I was a regular follower, and posted frequently, but over the summer I noticed a lack of interest in and postings to the site. I guess that this was a reflection of the changes in Asian Connections and I am afraid to say, but would hope to be proved wrong, that the shows days must now be numbered.
I loved the unexpected like the night Polly (now know as Sammi) clocked off one hour early. Viewers were left to watch her tidy up and walk of leaving the cam running. Another memorable day was when Anne discovered the dogs had fleas and promptly climbed onto the sofa to investigate and try and catch them whilst Vee continued to present the show.
As for the Night Show who will ever forget the three Thai Girls (Anne, Cherry and Polly) doing the funky chicken a recording of which circulated for a time but was removed a number of years ago (so do not bother to look for it).
