So as long as BM are leasing this licence/channel they can continue indefinitely?

On the one hand you welcome Ofcom's decision and say that the dayshows need to clean up, and then on the other you're laughing at the idea of these channels becoming more european in their outlook.

You applaud Ofcom's ruling, but then laugh at their regulations in general, all in the same breath!!

no it's not. i know that in spain, feck all will be done as the industry is so small, and if anything is done you can get a new license in about a month.
until playboy terminate the agreement then yes.

though playboy are now liable if bangbabes carry on with extreme shows.

do you comprend stan

Im not joining the Get-At-Ramos club, but didnt you recently say that getting legal in Spain is difficult with at least 5 different licences required?

yeah, but if you know the licenses, you can get them easily, especially as most people will know you and just say yes anyway, you do usually get strict conditions mind you, and you are watched a lot more.
Is it worth bang medias time to try and overturn the decision or are we way past that now, alternatively could they restart under a diffrent channel name on the same two sky and one freeview channels

I think there would be no point now, they would loose anyway, with the amount of stuff ofcom have against them.

It may be a good idea just depends how much notice they take of what's happened and what shit they can get into.

Because those two channels, 902 and 915 have licenses held by a different organisation who have leased out the airtime to Bang. This is not in breach of the revocation notice.
The revocation notice only applies to Bang in relation to them as licence holders and not being fit and proper to comply with licence conditions or the relevant broadcasting/advertising codes.

Assuming there is a right to appeal then any half-decent Lawyer representing Ofcom would shoot them down in flames.

18 months worth of breaches and failures to co-operate, plus the non payment of the fine AND the continuing off-EPG broadcasts when they'd been instructed to shut down are more than enough to sink the case.

As for starting up again they would need licencesto broadcast. After being labelled "not fit & proper" by Ofcom that just isn't going to happen. I would suggest that anyone remotely connected to the former license holders won't get a look in either.
