I'm trying to edit a fucking post and the forum won't update it. Anybody else have the same bother these days.
I can't believe I was the last one to post about this and now the first one almost 3 years later.

I don't know if it's just me and my internet connection or if it's the same for everybody. Every morning at roughly half 6 the forum connection seems to either be incredibly slow or unable to access completely.

This has led to a number of things that can happen such as making the same post 3 or 4 times either on this forum or via the PM system.

Does this forum do some sort of maintenance every morning at this time or something as its consistently slow first thing in the morning.
I've noticed the same thing - seems to clear pretty quickly though
It happens pretty regularly for me too.
Sometimes if the forum is a bit slow, I check the task manager and see that the memory usage has shot up to over 3 or 400 K, so just closing and reopening the browser can sort it out.
Never been around at 6 in the morning though.
^^^^ Yep SB I have a similar issue more often than not between 6.30am and 8.00am.
It tends to clear within half an hour on each occasion though.
Its a daily occurance around that time. Too be honest surprised not had more trouble the software is getting on a bit and the amount of users and posts a day must be huge

admins gotta be commended for keeping it working
It was posted somewhere a while back about a daily backup happening around 7am, which would tie up the server/database causing these sort of issues.
