thanx. admin will be able to use that...
Apologies for the MySQL service interruption for about 5 minutes, which led to the 2 reports above. It was because the host stopped and restarted the database. I was unable to give any advance warning of this, because being only a 5 minute interruption they hadn't told me about it in advance (although they did telephone me afterwards to explain what they had done).
It's been a while since I had one of these.

But then about 10 minutes ago, I spent about five minutes trying to get into the site, and I get three of those one after the other.
Now everything seems fine again.
Had this @ 6:29 this morning, trying to log in.
I seem to be getting quite a lot of 503 errors this morning. The same as my above post.
if i remember correctly the server gets optimized and restarted between 6-and 7am gmt so that may be the reason, especially if it only lasted a few mins.
im sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but i did'nt know where to, what has happened to the chatgirl forum thanks in advance

Thanks Hex!t, I was thinking that myself. Is that the time the back-up's are made? so the forum becomes slow and unresponsive during that time. You are correct, when you say it only lasts about 10 minutes or so. But it was at a different time of the day this time, compared to the last time I had it.
