What I was wondering is just what are these "random files" that get downloaded during the test and where the heck are they now?
My Internet speed test results are,
Download Speed: 18.89 Mbps
Upload Speed:0.795 Mbps.
I perform this test from
ScanMySpeed.com
My upload and download speeds fluctuate regularly almost hour by hour and I can never get a consistent reading. I have always experienced this problem unfortunately. I used to be with BT, but now I'm with TalkTalk.

to be honest the flash test seems to be more representative of the speeds i see when downloading torrents.
i changed my isp and got fibre optic. they said my line could get speeds of 47Mbs. as my plan goes up to 37Mbs they said i would get that but as you can see i'm only getting half that. am i understanding this right?
^^ I only dream of that bandwidth mate.
Where I live, fibre optic isn't available (out in the sticks) and my phone exchange is 6 miles away!
Everything is
soooo sloooooow
Oh well, at least I'm paying the same as everybody else and only getting a fraction of the service, sweet
Mine has improved, still not as good as it should be, but fibre optic isn't an option at the moment, so it'll do.
OK
here goes.....
And why do I suspect lots of
God knows why my upload is greater than my download
Can anyone beat that on a scale of 0 - shit
lol! your upload speed's faster than your download speed! impressive!
