However, Danica did feature on a TV program where she promoted the wishlist culture and I think that's why the backlash against her has been particularly strong.

Even so, if she is a golddigger, so what? She wont be the first and she diffinatly wont be the last.
As stated, all these models are using their charms to get money that is solely what the business is about, if that is the criteria for a gold digger then they all are (I'm sure they would strongely disagree with that statement though), one model shouldn't be singled out though, particularly if it is due to personal bias.
And you have to have in mind another thing, she can make a wish list as long as her arm, nobody is forced to buy any thing from them. More fool them if they do; which was always my original point.
Danica seems to me to me be more of a celebrity grubber like many young people these days, she wont be able to retire on what she makes on those wish list things that's for sure.
I'm not going to get into yet another argument with you mellover. I stated my opinion and the fact it differs from yours only serves to illustrate that it's just opinion.
She promoted herself in a certain light and some people accepted it, liked or disliked it and I fall into the latter category. If you don't, that's absolutely fine and I have no issue with that.

Yes I think you're right. Marvel's doing a great job in the cinemas and there's no reason to think the Joss Whedon TV shows won't do the same. I'm looking forward to seeing how they explain Coulson's resurrection!
Yes a lot of the girls are "gold diggers" & "amazon wishlisters" and "manipulate" men for personal gain .The vast majority of these girls though ,don't publicly ridicule the mugs who pay for them .Danica gleefully took part in the documentary and took the piss .She was then selected for Celebrity BB on the back of this .We then witnessed her "manipulation skills", she carried out on "The Prince" & "The Situation". That's why she's got such a bad reputation / public image .
