Hi HannahsPet l spoke with Danica today this story is just a load of

Maybe it’s a product of my age or maybe it’s a product of my reading so much dogmatic opinion in this and other threads - often based on vicarious opinion or news fiction (like that in the Daily Star) about this girl – that I am taking a slightly philosophical tack here but it seems to me that too few writers here actually know their own attitudes/”relationship” to Danica. (I am not going to be specific about thread correspondants’ identity but there are some here who have a track record of expressing nothing but negative opinion about Danica which goes back at least 2 years.) Everyone is entitled not to like her – just like anyone is entitled to the opposite view. I am firmly in the latter camp; I find her beautiful, charming, sexy and in essence what an enjoyment of Life is about. That is why I contribute to this thread – it gives me an opportunity to express my delight and appreciation of her and maybe offer some ideas as to what I think would serve her well. Do I find her a fully rounded mature personality with a sense of political correctness and motive who manipulates exploitative tendancies? No. Does she have an intellect capable of manipulating the mass media and public opinion to her own wnds? Clearly not! She is a young woman of 24 living in a stressed world and imho she is a lot more intelligent and sensitive than most other people of that age living in that environment that I have come across.

If you don’t like her. OK... Move on. What I don’t understand is why so many in this thread take so much effort to “bring her down”. It appears that they have got nothing better to do with their time or are so unsure or uncomfortable with their own feelings about her that they are trying to convince themselves of a view they should hold about her – accurate or not – and if they can find another’s opinion/perception (never fact) then use it. If so that is a shame and so negative; that time would be so better spent in praise of the people they like and making them feel good - be it another Elite or Babe TV or even Vanessa Felz! Vicky Thomas, Paige, Lolly Badcock, and a load of other girls are not to my taste – maybe some I could even find offensive but then I can always flip the TV switch and I can certainly find a better use of my time that to use it to write destructive opinions on the other threads about them.

Surely this Summer as much as any has shown that with positive and healthy thinking so much goodwill and achievement can be fostered. Maybe Celeb Big Brother was a mistake – maybe it wasn’t – but it wasn’t Life defining! Maybe some people could think of better ways to spend their time than just knocking this young girl in this thread?

OK being positive/”nice” can open you up to criticism in a way that sheer closed mindedness doesn’t – but doing one of those actions you feel better for it and the other I don’t think you do. I’ll leave you to allocate as appropriate

I must've been reading different threads, 'cause the Danica threads I've been reading on here were pretty much full of praise for her during the time she spent on these channels. And when there was people saying negative stuff about her, then it was usually countered by people who were prepared to defend her shows.

The massive negativity you see now in this thread is nothing more than a reflection of the negativity she's been getting on other sites, too. Also, many people on here who happily praised her in the past have now changed their opinion of her, so not the so called 'haters' that they normally get tagged with.

I fall into that category Chilly. I remember the Elite threads of a couple of years back, where Friday afternoons/evenings would see the board go mental for Danica. The negativity from me comes from recent events, rather than being someone who just didn't like her from the start. In fact, the only negativity I recall from that period was from one or two anti-silicone members.

I've still got a very healthy library of Danica clips posted on those threads on my hard drive
