We all know that this babe channels business is on the whole a cynical, money making exercise. Some girls only do it for the money, some girls do it as a platform to promote other stuff that will probably make them even more money. Some girls even enjoy it and throw their heart and soul into it (while thinking about how to spend the money).

Now Danica has broken into the mainstream glamour world and has other contractual arrangements I would be very surprised (I like surprises by the way) if we see her on nights again and if we do it will be toned down (is that possible I hear some of you say), courtesy of the aforementioned contracts. She has gotten to where she wanted to be (albeit with a few hiccups) and appearances on Elite and appearances on here are just part of the next phase of brand Danica. Good luck to her.

Don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with that, I only work for the money but to pretend that it's for some other reason would be a little disingenuous. I think Danica is a shrewd cookie and seems to be pretty business savvy but come on, you really need a reality check if you genuinely believe all of her spiel (you are the guys that really count, yeah right).

Chilly is right when he points out that she has had 2 years to sign up and comment on here. When you think about all the things that have been written on here and her first posts are about promoting her website, you have to say it is pretty blatant. I know Jamie has allowed/welcomed her back but even allowing for a cold today, her last 2 appearances are amongst her worst ever and it all seems like a chore. I hate having to say that because I love the girl.

It’s funny coz strategically her management think they’ve got it right, but what’ll happen is that everyone will get pissed off with her for being less ‘good’ than a year ago. After all it was us lot that got her where she is by creating all the interest noticed by folks in the business. I’m less inclined now to run out and buy a copy of a mag she’s in, as I am with Kitty, who I also love, coz she’s clearly also been told to tone it down a bit my her management. Let’s face it, how many management companies would recommend ‘leaking’ an illicit sex tape of Danica? But the reality is that it did wonders for Jordan’s and Pammy’s career! Discuss.

I not sure this sentiment is correct.If I was her agent I would certainly take her down the route she is going now. She is highly photogenic,well spoken and appears quite clever.She is only doing what others have tried or would like to try.She cannot be chewed out for that.If she is only doing days and people not calling then it's up to Elite to determine if she is still viable.

All I know is I've saved those clips of her flashing the gash, and the other naughty things she used to do either on the night show or during the daytime shows. So, if all we're going to get now is what we've seen in her recent shows, then at least I still have those clips to, erm, enjoy. Ah, those were the days. The queen of the tease at her best.

^^^^I suppose her management will argue that now she is a Loaded, Nuts, FHM and whatever else model then their strategy has worked. All well and good but do you need your existing fans to come along with you? They seem to think so because this forum is apparently now important because guess what, we watch the channels, we use the internet so the chances are we will sign up to the website.

All sound reasoning and fine and dandy. The problem comes when you turn up to promote but you look like you couldn't give a hoot. At least make the effort and pretend. If Danica had got her act together or probably her management had got theirs the website would have happened 18 months ago when she was at the top of her game and her appeal was at it's peak on here. It seems to me that Danica has mentally moved on but someone has said "hang on girl, not so fast, there's god knows how many members on the forum that we need to tap up so stick around". She will make a whole load of cash anyway I guess but by reaching a new audience.

I think you got a fair point webbiola Its the old look at Lynsey Dawn Mckenzie and Charmaine Sinclair and where they are now syndrome. Let's not desert these guys now we may need them in a couple of years and will they forgive you?

I think she actually does not care at this time which makes it strange why at the very least have some decent content on the website and at least good relations will be maintained with her legacy fans if she wants them.

Let's wait and see what the website brings. If these channels become surplus to her requirements and the content is a damn sight hotter than we have had from Elite previously, I will be signing up, no problem.
The girl is a major talent but I think they need to make up their mind what her 'image' or her 'brand' actually is. Even on Elite they tried to make out 'innocent gone naughty', 'Danica's diva world', then 'I'm too shy to do a 241 with Caty' to 'don't call me about your train set I want filth' and now what 'I will lay here pouting and promoting but don't expect me to move or look interested?'
Get it right and the world is hers, get it wrong and it's a missed opportunity.
How come Alice does the same magazine shoots yet still puts in a shift day or night and always gives the impression she enjoys it, whether she does or not? Surely that's how you maintain your appeal and you take your existing fans with you wherever you go next?

Even if Danica and Glamourchase hadn't bothered with this forum, then I know I still would've signed up to her site. I think a number of her fans would've done the same too. Still, I can certainly see why they're now bothering with this forum, as it really is a great place to promote stuff, especially with the number of members and hits this forum receives on a daily basis.

However, like the Cellcast shows or even Sophia Knight, over promotion just kills it for me. One of the class acts on here as far as acknowledging her fans has to be Fernanda. Other babes do interact with us on here too and, you know what, I think it's those gals who'll find that their fans stay loyal to them in the long run.

I didn't think the intial spamming of the forum was a great way to introduce yourself, but I guess we'll have to wait and see what sort of interation we really get from her on here in he weeks and months to come. Hell, if she and Glamourchase eventually get it right, then the good news for them is it could win her even more fans.
