Are you sure this is 100% true, me being a Rovers fan this topic about the corner flags comes up a lot and my understanding is the F.A have no recollection of it so I'm not sure about it myself. We were the only club to do it for a while but Man Utd do it now as well.

The FA may not recollect it because it happened in 1883-1884, 1884-1885 and 1885-1886.
Although Man Utd have done the League three in a row (twice) they have not done the same in the FA Cup.
