Hello

At the weekend I was back in the area the Vintage Magazine Shop is no more, nor is the Vintage Clothing Company which replaced it.
Today it is Fiorucci, see attached image. Brand new shiny shop, somehow do not think it will last as long as the Vintage Magazine Shop
Hi

If anyone back in the day read Private Eye see link to a recording by John Hurt of one of its columists Jeffery Bernard

Yes a big fashion store - it even contains a cafe.
Hi

Just found out they are not getting their license renewed, reports the dancers ignored the no touching rule.

Very sad if true
I've just seen the press reports and it looks like this is the end. The Windmill owner has 21 days to appeal against the decision but I don't feel very optimistic for him.
Hi

there are many building projects going on in Soho at present. Talking to one of the guys he is of the belief that Carillion were involved in one of the larger ones. I had thought they were only involved in public sector contracts.
In view of the recent press does anyone have any information please
Hi
Just saw the news , Carillion have gone. Wonder if they have any involvement in Soho redevelopment.
Also the will owe sub contractors tens of millions, my sympathy to any one affected by this

I've had dealings with Carillion. They couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery.

The biggest surprise is, they've lasted this long...
