Probably some movement, but not in a good direction for S66, at least judging by a few short tweets from Lola last night and this morning, said she is pissed off basically and is still being under appreciated and under valued by S66

Some of the posts seem hysterical to me. Especially the ones giving Lola advice on what to do, as though the posters concerned know the full circumstances and know what's going to be best for her.

Granted but it remains a relevant subject for comment and as such subsequent debate if something can be reliably contested. All SA is really saying is that we should hold back (just a little if you must) in thinking this story is simply cut and dried. All public info relayed on here has come from either tweets or an OF post made by Lola herself. In other words its completely one-sided information. That's not to doubt what she has written or anything of the sort, it's just to say it's one person's choice of what to tell and necessarily limited in detail.

We all make assumptions to fill in gaps in such stories when we hear them. Babelover for instance said Lola asked 66 "politely" about her change of shifts. Now while likely that was the case, we don't know if that really is an accurate description of events. And just to show I'm not having a go at BL, I too made an assumption in my one post on this on Sunday. I guessed Lola would have taken the normal course of action and had a two way conversation with her bosses before announcing to the world that she'd quit... but I/we don't really know that for a fact. We've only been told that 66 called her on Monday. Maybe she'd emailed without response before her tweet. Maybe she'd simply made her own mind up that she was gone. We can not be sure.

These may seem like small points but if we were wrong about them first off it changes our picture of events somewhat; multiple such assumptions can change one's perception of events even more sharply.

That said some readers may feel they can take the high ground over those that have written with advice for Lola, but I'm sure that advice comes from a position of concern for someone they have come to admire over some time now, and as such it's all okay in my book. Then too, perhaps other readers should be trusted to judge what are facts and what not for themselves?

Your the boss. How are you playing this current situation out? The "just give them whatever they want" won't wash with the big wigs in any business. There has to be a Compromise somewhere or just kick it in the long grass and be done with it all.
