It certainly happened after the 2007 World Cup Final between Germany and Norway. There are pictures from that match of both the Germans and the Norwegians wearing opposition shirts.

Not so good as it turned out. A hard fought match which finished 0-0. New Zealand hit the bar with a penalty which was the closest either side came to scoring. Australia and Nigeria play at 10:00 tonight and that could be good if two team's opening performances are anything to go by.

Is this a better line up?

No. You can't leave out Cara Brett from the starting XI, she's a Chelsea fan!

Yes and that's the way it finished, 1-0 to China. Group A is the low scoring group with only 3 goals in the 4 matches played.
Double figures of goals has been reached for the second time in the tournament with a 10-1 victory for Switzerland over Ecuador. Japan beat Cameroon 2-1 in the same group. England and Mexico kick off at 9:00 tonight - being shown live on BBC3 (whatever that is).
Shocking result for France losing to Colombia 2-0

England 2-1 up through Kirby and Karen Carney
England beat Mexico 2-1
Really nervy last few minutes for England after Mexico got it back to 2-1, thankfully they held on

Yes a good match, Australia winning 2-0. The other match in that group was a goalless draw between the USA and Sweden. Those results leave all 4 teams in with a chance of winning the group.
