And later he turned up as the rather lecherous farm manager to Boycie and Marlene in the Only Fools and Horses spin off "The Green Green Grass" Big Grin
Back To The Future has less then 30 visual effects shots in the entire movie.
Jeff Goldblum was second choice to play Doc Brown in Back To The Future.
During filming of The Matrix Keanu Reeves suffered a two-level fusion of his cervical spine which had begun to cause paralysis in his legs and had surgery done his neck. When he returned he had to do light training in practicing the fights so instead of doing 4 months of training he only did 2 months. That’s why in the movie you’ll notice he hardly does any kicks because of the neck injury.
In the Back To The Future Trilogy any where that you see lightning whether it’s in the sky or on the DeLorean time machine it was actually hand drawn and animated. Also the cloud effects during the lighting storm where done with fillings that use in pillows and a high watt bulb was then moved across the pillow filling to give it a stork effort then they turned the image upside down to so it looks like storm clouds in the sky. Really clever how they do it and no CGI.
Remember the scene of James Bond(Pierce Brosnan) driving his (choke, splutter!) BMW around the German underground car park in 'Tomorrow Never Dies' using his Nokia phone? well it wasn't quite what it seemed in that it wasn't a German underground car park but a British one. Filmed at the underground car park in Brent Cross Shopping Centre, North London to be precise (where we go for clothes and things). I remember one time we were there and noticed these signs about filming and not to worry if any explosions were heard -this would be the setting for that dramatic scene where Bond's car fires missiles at the villains.
In the tv show Arrow every time Oliver Queen is firing a arrow from his bow it’s not a real arrow but actually cgi arrow.
